I don’t even know where to start. Jaxon & Toni are all I ever hoped they would be. There were a lot of tears I shed in this book...did I say a lot? Trust me...a lot. My heart broke too many times to count. But, don’t worry, it was made right. And fair warning, I’ve felt connected to Jaxon on a deeper level since the second we met him in Mortemous. There’s just something about him that spoke to my heart.
Jaxon’s heartache was so deep because his level of commitment and loyalty to Mia was so intense. I knew he was going to break me, but DANG. Toni was exactly what he needed, the sunshine to his midnight darkness. Her relationship with Slade, Layla, & Rhian is so special. And that relationship helped to push along the girls’ relationship with Jaxon. She was so instrumental at every turn, even in the smallest of ways. She helped bring them all past their walls.
I could go on & on about this book, I just love this couple so much! They are soooooo stinkin hot together...I needed a cigarette & I’ve never smoked a day in my life 😂. I was like, “Just give me a match,” because that’s all it would take to completely ignite their passion. Their chemistry was so potent to me.
Ellie, thank you! You captured my heart & soul in this book. You did good for my boy...even though you had to break him first. I completely understand why though, so I still love you.

Jaxon gets a second chance!
Have you ever held on to something so tightly that it determined the course of your life? Jax did, making him the hero in the shadows we all loved in his previous appearances in Ellie's series. But that kind of loyalty has a price. He's proof that people can be loyal to a fault.
I loved watching Jaxon's relationship with his estranged daughters grow, and with it his self-awareness. Miss Livi was an amazing h for him...and she battled her own loyalty demons as well.
Ellie hits us with more soul searching in this book than she has before, but the action we've all come to expect from Alpha and Ghost Teams was there in force. Loved the book and the characters. Looking forward to Blair's story!

Jaxon broke my heart
I've read and loved every book in the series but Jaxon broke my heart.
Ever since he was introduced as a character I have been dying for his story.
I kinda of knew going in that this book was going to make me UGLY cry and I was absolutely correct. It tugged on my heart strings from the very first chapter and never stopped. Every time I read one of Ms. Kirson's books I think I couldn't possibly love it as much as the last and everytime I am happily proven wrong.
This is an excellent series and I highly recommend that you do yourself the favor of starting at the first book. One of the most unique series I've ever read. Ms. Kirson's world is rich, vibrant and unmatched.

Great story
Although, Jason was starting to really piss me off! He thinks it's ok to be so tied to a dead woman and expect Toni to just be there e however he wants?!? I get how much he was tied to Mia but he had to understand that Toni deserved so much more. Interesting tie in to Taylor from Mia's story. Didn't see that one coming. How long do we have to wait for Blair's story?

I love these books!
The ghost team is amazing! The character growth for each of them is inspiring!
Toni finding herself again is beautiful and the path of moving on for Jax is so real! Thank you Ellie! I cant wait to see whats next!

Seriously good
You MUST read this book!! It is part of a series and really should be read in order.
This book gives the reader everything and more. Angst, suspense, heartbreak, emotional rollercoaster, happiness, a sweetness, passion, and love.

Give Me Strength
Oh my heart. Jaxson & Toni took me on an emotional roller coaster. The way Ellie builds their world for us is amazing. I am in awe of the way she can create such love and beauty in the midst of the darkness of their lives. Love this one as I have loved the rest.

What can I say about this book other than how fabulous it is. I didn't want it to end. I don't think it is possible to have too much Jaxson and Toni.
