Do you understand the power of your thoughts? Do you practice daily affirmations? My answer to both of these questions was "no" until about a year ago. When Jennifer and I began our first gratitude journal project, I wanted to include scripture, inspiration and prayer. She wanted to also include "I am" and "I will" statements. I didn't totally understand, but I saw no harm. Fast forward to today, and I not only see no harm, I see all the good! These statements of affirmation when focused on can push away the negative voices in your head or in your presence and replace them with positive thoughts. Those positive thoughts can then lead to positive changes in your life. That is the power of a thought! Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. Proverbs 4:23
