All Him wants is the truth in every aspect of his life. Instead he is confronted with lie after lie. When those lies start coming from an unexpected place he just can't let it go. He has to find out the truth before he makes another mistake and gives his loyalty away to the wrong person. Everything is fine. At least that is what Lyn tells herself while she is crumbling inside. Life has been full of changes. Hit after hit has been handed to her and she is tired of reliving the pain. Too bad she can't hide from the man who knows her best. Friendships are tested. Loyalty is uncertain but one thing remains true, for love, no price is too great to pay.

Been waiting for this conclusion, and it did not disappoint! However, it did leave me with more questions! Lyn was frustrating with the secrets, when she knew that Him would do anything for her! Where was the trust in yo man? Sasha with all that back and forth, gave me a damn headache! But glad that she finally got her ish together, as Nate was a good dude! I could not believe that Mel got the upper hand in this! I was livid, you hear me?? 🤬 And Bianca's snake ass! How did no one pick up on her behaviors? What happened to Mel? We heard what happened and think we know what became of Bianca. But do we really? I hated that it ended without much closure. I hope this means that maybe another series is in the works? I now need to go back and read the other books, to try and get more understanding of the characters. Enjoyed this! 👍👍👍
This series was everything!! A real page turner! I love the overall message of this book…family over everything. Him created his own family and he protected them at all costs. I’m curious as to what happened to Mel though. This book was just fun in every way. Great job 👏🏽
Really enjoyed this story however, I still can't recall whatever happened with Mel. I've read this author's other books and Mel/Cory doesn't even cross my mind. Also not sure what really happened to Bianca after that phone call she made. The storyline was good as well as the characters. Now I'm looking for this author to go back to Brick's story after reading the little snippet at the end.
Overall the series was super entertaining and had enough moving pieces to keep the reader entertained. However, outside of the first book, Him and Nate were the only two likable characters for me. Sasha was extremely immature from book two through a majority of book three, if we’re just going by the way she treated Nate, she was immature from beginning to end. An explanation was given, but I don’t think there was enough time in the book for there to be a turning point that redeemed her for me. Lyn made very poor decisions, and I wasn’t a fan of how she’d give Him her ass to kiss and then turn around and be upset that he wouldn’t continuously press her. She asked for space, then berate him for doing so.
I’m not sure who’s my favorite between Nate and Him. They’re both intelligent, protective, loyal and willing to go to the ends of the earth for the people they love. They both had hard lives, and my heart went out to them. The hands they were dealt were tough but they persevered.
I was THROUGHLY surprised by Bianca’s steady decline. In the first book I thought she may have wanted Rocko, and was happy when I found out she was a solid friend but the revelation of what she’d been doing to Lyn for years and they way she turned on her had me stuck! I didn’t see it coming.
There were a lot of things I didn’t see coming, and I had to finish all three books to satisfy my curiosity.
This author’s ability to tell a story, and her writing skills in general are amazing! I haven’t been able to focus on a book in a long time and I finished this series in about three days. I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
I gave 4.5 starts because the ending felt a bit rushed to me, and there were a few unresolved plot points.

This series was a first read of the author for me. This series was so good! Bre Shadae did that! I checked her IG faithfully waiting for part 3 to drop. I could understand why Lyn kept her secrets, but it was frustrating that she didn’t give Him the benefit of the doubt and just told him! Then Mel killed the only person that could corroborate her story! So when it blew up and Mel lied, I was like well girl, you knew you should have told your man when it happened! But of course, Him knew her better than she knew herself and set things right. Ugh, i loved Him fr. The ending was sort of abrupt, I would have like to know how everyone coped and lived with Him’s decision. Like the hidden cameras in Lyn’s house didn’t help proved they were being framed? Or what happened to Mel or even Bianca too. I didn’t read Crowned by his love, so i’ll read that next & hopefully that answers some questions. Overall, I was thoroughly entertained and would highly recommend this author and her books.
The series ended with a bang and cause me to be an emotional mess! Bre Shadae, you did the doggone thing, it was well worth the wait. Family, friendship love, respect, loyalty and betrayal you will find in this finale. I love me some Him and Nate, they loved hard and new their women better than they knew themselves,I was please withthe relatiinahips throughout the story. Love will cause you to sacrifice things that you find sacred within yourself to persevere. Loved the ending and look forward to the next part
So the ending just didn't so it for me. I can appreciate Him's loyalty but 25 years. I'm more of a HEA reader and this just wasn't it. The first two books were amazing, but this book just didn't give. The women were irrational, and I'm assuming Mel set them up and got away with no consequences leaving the main character in prison for 25 years. If you like to see the main character suffer in the end this is for you. If you like a HEA, I would suggest you read something else.
I didn't know where the hell you were going in this book. Lyn was pissin me off with her foolishness, just tell the man what happened sheesh. I knew they would get it together eventually but it didn't stop my stomach from hurting nonetheless. There's some unanswered questions I need answers to, we gotta have closure. Great read tho, I had to wake up and finish it.
So, i didn't care for book 3. It didn't flow as well as the first 2 installments. The ending confused the mess out of me. What was the timeline ( year) if present day was 25 years later? 🤔 Also, if the ending was linked that much to the crown series then it should have been a MANDATORY READ, not suggested. Also, some plot conclusions were messing. It might be in future books. Sidenote: I love the book covers and the color changes
Wow this series was so good!! I absolutely did not see Him going through all of what went down but I was definitely glad to see him come hone to Lyn and MJ!! Nate was definitely a rider for his brother he did what was necessary to get him home like he promised him. I was also happy to see that Nate and Sasha stayed together and created a family..
I really enjoyed this series. This was my first series that I read by you and it has me going back to read you others. Even though Him had a rough disposition, I love is character and the love he has for Lyn can't be denied. I loved Nate's character as well. Not trying to give out any of the juicy details of this series but baby some of those sex scenes 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
This book is everything. I can't believe the things that happened with Him. I'm glad Sasha finally opened up to Nate. Bianca snake a$$. I was truly upset toward the end tho. I'm not going to give the story away tho. Very good read
She didn’t even have to do me like that. Nate is a real one! I said what I said. I almost felt bad for B almost. I felt bad for Ice! He’s still bae idc. I can’t wait for what’s next! Outstanding
The journey with all these characters has been amazing. When I 1st read Crowned by His Love, I wanted to know more about Ice and Lyn’s story. She sent above and beyond what I expected and I’m truly grateful. Such an amazing gift. Thank you ❤️
This time around, the story seemed to take on too many side stories. Him just could not catch a break... A man named Him was a strange thing. His lady wasn't it. And the ending was odd for me. 3.5 stars.
Omg pt 3 was crazzzy! So much drama that kept me on edge. This was the perfect ending to this series. I didn't see it coming but it was definitely worth it. Good read!
Enjoyed the series over all. Ice really had a rough life , but was determined to have better. Ugggghhh I need another book. Nate was the kind of friend we all need. He came through in a pinch. What happened to Mel?
Bre Shadae snapped on book 3! Like, I am speechless. I never questioned Him’s loyalty to his family but he literally laid it all on the line to protect his family. It was hard at times reading about Lyn’s struggles; it felt like she couldn’t catch a break. I love how the author takes chances with her characters, they are always complex but so lovable. I absolutely loved Him and Nate’s friendship- even after all the turmoil and years later Nate kept his word. This was a beautiful display of the saying. “Family Over Everything”. I enjoyed this series so much! ❤️
