Peter's perspective on grace helped first-century Christians live out their high calling, even amid satanic attack. This perspective can do the same for twenty-first century believers.
Recommended reading by my pastor at the beginning of a series going through 1&2 Peter, this book surprised me with the realization that it was a Bible study, not "just a book." But there was as much pure teaching as if it weren't a study, and the questions at the end of each chapter - refreshingly - contain no busy work; they were "dig, think, pray, and apply."
It certainly left nothing to be desired. I highly recommend it for personal spiritual growth, for small-group study, or for congregational study.
