This is a timeline of significant moments in John Lennon's life and career, sadly ending with his murder in 1980. The pictures are everything - got to love the outfits, the hair, the glasses, the chutzpa. The text itself is oddly written. For example, an event on Feb 8th will start with "After his interview yesterday...". But besides that, a great look into John Lennon's life - his successes, his songs, his struggles, his battles - at a glance.

El libro me gustó más que nada por su formato de fotos comentadas. Como fanática de Lennon siempre disfruto descubrir nuevas imágenes, y aún más cuando las mismas están contextualizadas.

Sin embargo, es claro que se busca dar sólo una parte de la imagen de Lennon. Cynthia ni aparece, y apenas se nombra el Lost Weekend. Un Lennon que al final se revela bastante incompleto respecto al personaje....

Repito, las 4 estrellas van solo por haber disfrutado las imágenes.

Pro mě, co se informační hodnoty týče, už nic nového pod sluncem, ale obsahuje plno zajímavých fotografií. Trilingvní vydání (angličtina, němčina, čeština), považuju za zajímavé zpestření.
