Rate this book

This book is unique. It puts a whole new sense to the word "inspiration". I certainly don't hold the conviction that I know myself so well that I can't learn anything new. It's exactly the opposite - sometimes I think I've forgotten myself so much that it's easier to understand others than my own self. Anyways, it's not an uncommon trait amongst human beings.

Even though I'm generally open to other people's analysis of my nature, especially to the opinions of writers, I never thought it would be so easy to recognise my own behavioural patterns within such a pessimistic context. I was truly amazed at the beginning of the book when I came to realise that after all, I'm not THAT much of a positive person as I used to think I was. The vast majority of our modern society is thoroughly negative, whether they understand that or not. This book gave me insight to a concept I've never been aware of. Humans spend a great amount of their time on Earth in rigorous training to become unstoppable troublemakers. Thanks to this training, it is unbelievably easier to think of the negative aspect of any given situation or event. Even if you're convinced you're an optimist. Give yourself a few examples. You might be surprised by your own way of thinking.

I refuse to spend my lifetime working against myself. I refuse to blame destiny or anybody else for my own efforts in making my life miserable. I refuse to ruin my beautiful existence on this Earth with these two capable human hands!

I believe this book could change lives. Take it seriously, it's worth it.
