This has decent writing and plot for beginners. Also interesting to use the descriptions of The Netherlands in this book to discuss stereotypes with Dutch teens.

"Parhaps that was the meaning of friendship. Perhaps the only true one."
The protagonist of this story, Kate was once saved her life by her ex-collegue, Max when she got into a serious trouble. He fought for her even though his life was also in a dangerous situation because of her. She never forgets to owe him, and she chases to find out the real fact why he is murdered. This time is a bit different that Max is already gone though. She never gives up on it even if he is no more here, and I agree that this could be the true friendship.

It was my first time to read a level 4 book from Cambridge, and I found that the higer the book's level is, the more realistic the story coud be. I almost felt likeI was watching a sort of criminal movie while reading it. Really good content and I also realized that I like this auther Sue Leather so much!
