What's going on in Crooked Oak?

First it was a small plane crash.

Then black SUV's are everywhere, blocking roads and some say, even phone signals.

Pete, Krish and Nancy are huge fans of the website - The Mystery Shed, where strange phenomenon are shared. They know that the large white tent over the crashed plane and the ominous armed people around it are a perfect story to send in to the Mystery Shed. But they can't see anything, and can't get any closer to the action.

When farm animals begin behaving erratically, cats disappear and people fall ill, Krish and his friends begin to investigate. Did something escape that plane? Is it responsible for the weird goings on?

This book, perfect for dyslexic or reluctant readers, is a thrilling tale full of mystery, secrets and creep factor.

Three friends (about 12 years of age) are fascinated by anything strange, but when it's right on their doorstep it's a completely different matter. They have to face personal fears, work together and save a loved one, ramping up the tension even more.

Fast paced and exciting from the beginning, The Horror of Dunwick Farm is the 1st in a trilogy, which is fantastic for Dyslexic or Reluctant Readers keen for a series.

I suggest if in any way you don't like spiders - this is NOT the book for you. I could practically feel them on me as I read.

Great read!
