Each Serendipity book is a complete story in the humorous misadventures of Seren Starlight, but there is an arc of mystery and romance which develops throughout this planned eight books series. Each book coincides with one of the sabbats of the wheel of the year and will be released roughly every six weeks.
Since there is a mild Welsh theme, these books are written in British English.

Illusions...
I spent a great deal of this book confused and angry.. probably how Seren felt. I hope the title explains what I just read because I'm still in shock and I'm confused. It's well written it's just vague... and you read it and feel like it can't possibly mean what it looks like it means. Not a feel good story. Honestly probably the most depressing in the series despite the beautiful cover and I read the one where she almost died... this one was more sad and scary than that.

Twist and turns
We continue on Seren's journey to discover who is in charge of the magic mafia. Poppy has continued to add new layers to the ongoing story. This is part of a series and can not be read alone. I look forward to seeing who is really the bad guy in this series.
