Interesting
Again, a really interesting story with lots of steam and drama. But it really needs an edit. It pulled me out of the story, which was a bit of a bummer.

3.5 ⭐️
I was so excited for this release, I absolutely loved book 1. There was a lot of internal monologue that kinda made this one drag a bit, and the “dad” how could they be so trusting and not investigate. I will be going on to read book 3, I am invested into knowing what happens next.

There are just so many mates that there's no real alone time spent with any of them one-on-one so the romance aspect is pretty brief and brisk. There's a lot of suspense and I wouldn't say action but you can't call it a thriller either I don't know. it's really frustrating actually. it's like you want it to be interesting because the first book was so good and interesting and the storyline is a good idea but there's just so much going on it gets jumbled like the whole aspect of nine mates... It's just too many. But the really frustrating thing about this is the fact that they get more and more oblivious the more information they find out. It's freaking absurd like they know they have witches in their pack they even know who most of the culprits are but every time something really messed up happens or really suspicious they aren't suspicious at all! they're just like, well let that person do what they're doing, they have right to their own privacy, people are going missing after we already know witches are giving them potions to make them do whatever they want but you know, those people have rights to be missing for days, they don't have to tell us all their secrets or where they're going. it's so incredibly frustrating. Like you just want to punch the main characters in the face. Especially the alphas, they act like oblivious hippies that stick their heads in the sand. Like if they just pretend like everything's okay then everything will be okay. We have 1000 people in our pack but none of them would betray us, even tho we let strangers in by the month... So, so frustrating. I don't know if I'm going to read the next book because this trend started in the first book and it was really irritating but the second book it just gets worse and worse. I don't know. I want to like it but like I don't even know why. I think I'm just so desperate for a good story that I've become attached to one that I thought was good...

Creative!
I liked this book, I loved the dif POVs, it really helped opened up each character. I thought this book had some great potential. The fmc has a harem of men that she grew up with. Over petty indifferences, the men have said and done some horrible fu{&!Ng shit to the fmc. She just defends herself against the petty and hurtful words and slurs and moves on. I expected her to feel a bit deeper about these things since she cares about everyone else’s emotions so much being an omega and all. There wasn’t a ton of positives happening in this book to balance amongst the deep pile of steaming crap she and her guys are thrown into. Regardless, I still wanted to read more. I didn’t find these subtle issues detracting to much from the plot, I enjoyed it to the end.

Ok. Well that was a slow burn of trauma and matings. Everyone had lots of issues to air out and deal with. But seriously, I think 3/4 of the book to get to the last one. Meanwhile still pack drama but all kind of removed. And the super shift thing doesn’t really do it for me so I’m a little meh meh about it

Well. it's not so cute anymore. This book was actually boring. I love smutt, and there was some of that but, overall... idk, the story isn't being "told"... it's being "dictated"... just boring.
I am checking out book three... you know, since I bought all of them... and sigh, i don;t know if I will last.

The journey gets interesting!
Our heroine Addy has been given a passel of mates and a mission to save basically all of the creatures that are paranormal. But first, she has to get to know all her mates and seal the mate bond. Another book in the series I couldn’t put down.
Excellent world building and character development. Each of Addy’s mates are so different but adore her and find their way to completing their bond.

Obviously, it was Olivia everyone could see that from a mile away except for her dad and the triplets dad like what is wrong with those two they’ve been in Alpha mode their whole lives and they couldn’t see that 🙄

Book 2 of 4
Book two is all about mating. 9 mates, each takes about one week. It's a fine story, but really begins to drag about mid way. The mates are all different species, so various powers appear. Evil shifters practice witchcraft leading onto book three.

I'm enjoying reading the journey that Addy and her mates are on. The characters are very detailed and unique to each MC.
