I am so happy to finally be posting about this book from debut author, K. Archer. I have been waiting months and months to read this book. Happy to report that it did not disappoint. It is so good.

Colt and Evie are great together. They go from friends to lovers. Once, they crossed that friend zone there was no stopping these two. The sexual chemistry between these two is HOT!! I have to admit that I am a bit jealous of Evie. She got to quarantine with so many hot guys. The male testosterone was definitely dominant in the house. I can't wait to read the next book by K. A recommended read for sure.

Longtime friends-to-lovers trope and the forced proximity trope! 🤍

This book is set in the actual pandemic affected 2020. Colton is a football star, but the NFL has gotten cancelled for the time being. He and a few other football players decide to stay together during the lockdown so as to keep up their regimen. And they ask Colton's bff Evelyn to stay with them coz she's a master chef.

It's all cool and fun, until Colton and Evelyn realize that they actually like each other. They decide to have a one week relationship to get it out of their system, but instead, they both fall deeper than ever for each other 🤍

The banter between these two, and the overwhelming love they have for each other was so wholesome. It was absolutely fun to read, and I really look forward to book 2 in this series! (Book 2's pair is hard core enemies to lovers, and the few snippets of them in book 1 were hilarious!)

I loved this book! It was sweet, steamy, funny and just adorable in every way. The characters were well thought out, making me feel like I knew them and was part of their little friend group. Colton and Evie were clearly made for each other and it was so much fun watching them figure that out for themselves. The author even drops hints and leaves things open for additional books featuring some of the side characters and I am super excited for that!

This is what I call a friends to lovers rom com!!!!

Where do I begin with this amazing book? It was everything! Made me laugh, swoon and sigh dreamily with how perfect Colton and Evy were! I felt all the feelings from the very start, they had most amazing friendship and the funniest banter. I loved how natural it was for everyone to see them together and how hot and explosive their chemistry was. There was so much tension from the beginning and the result it did NOT disappoint… their physical connection was absolutely HOT! They simply fitted together in every sense! I had so many feelings floating around with all the sexy, emotional and heavy moments they had that brought them closer and opened their eyes to how they really felt about each other!

I loved the relationship with Evy with the rest of the team. They were the perfect company for her and Colton! Lockdown all over again with a team like this? Sign me up, please!

I’m in love with this book, in love with this gang… In love with everything it made me feel.

My heart is so full with this friends to lovers PERFECTION! Definitely one of the best books I’ve read with this trope that I love so much!

𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 comes out October 5th and I recommend you pre-order NOW!

This was such a cute and wholesome romance read. It left me with a full heart and a happy smile on my face. It is a friends to lovers, kinda sports star romance, centred around NFL star Colton and his best friend Evelyn, moving into a share house during the first stages of a lockdown.

This my first pandemic inspired read and I felt it spoke to the times we are in-- portraying the connection that alot of people are/were craving. The book was very well written, especially as it was Archers debut novel. I loved that as the reader you could clearly see how much Evie and Colton already loved each other but didnt know it themselves. Pair that with some smart-a$s side characters and it had the perfect balance of plot and tension filled moments that made my insides do a flip!

I would highly recommend checking this book out. A very solid 4🌟 read for me. It gave me everything I wanted in a nice, fun read. It is a book I will be re-reading when I am in a light hearted mood!

Two best friends who live together during quarentine, along with three of his teammates, can't fight the chemistry everyone else has seen for years. They think they just need to work the attraction out over a week. But a week's not enough. But that doesn't change the arrangement. No feelings and they stay friends. But can a friends with benefits really workout?
I loved these two and their chemistry! Plus, the guys that are with them through the shut down add to the joy of the book. I really hope they each get a book too.

*I am leaving and honest and voluntary review after receiving this book as an ARC.

What a cute read!! What do you do when you need to quarantine? You quarantine with some friends. Colton and Evie have been friends forever but quarantine will test those boundaries. Love Colton and Evie and watching their friendship grow to a relationship.
Quaranteam brings out a rollercoaster of emotions.

I love a good open door romance but this was a little too much for me. There's A LOT of sex and its very descriptive and graphic. And the language was just a little too vulgar for me. I loved the story/plot though and the characters and the chemistry. If you love sports romance and friends to lovers and love steamy books then definitely check this one out!

Oooooh folks, she steamy.

When I read a sneak peek from this work in progress on @k.archerauthor ‘s account, I was was immediately intrigued. Then, when a few months later the opportunity to request an advanced readers copy was presented, I did not hesitate. And I was not disappointed.

Up until now, I’ve actually avoided all books that are set in our current pandemic climate - like many of us, my life is currently over saturated on the subject, and I use reading as an escape. However, I don’t think I’ll be able to dodge it forever, and this book did a great job of easing me into experiencing these reads.

This book was exactly what I needed, when I needed it. I often use romance as palette-cleansing read, and in this regard, this one definitely succeeded. It’s some good ol’ fashioned steamy smut, I am not mad at it. I started this book at 11:15pm. I finished it at 2:45am. I quite literally did not want to put it down. For the most part, I was in deep (pun intended), but occasionally some of the phrases or language wasn’t my favourite and pulled me out (can’t help it, too easy) - but that’s more personal preference than anything else. Obviously a quick read for me, and it definitely had me... captivated.

Oof. I need a cold shower.

Quaranteam is being released October 5th, and if you’re in need of a quickie (couldn’t resist) and steamy read, this one oughta do the trick!

Thanks to @k.archerauthor for a copy of this digital advanced readers copy.

“Time flies in quarantine, huh?” - Colton in Quaranteam by K. Archer

Synopsis: Quarantine is hitting and Colton Riley, QB of Maimi’s football team, is hosting a quarantine with some of the other players and his best friend (who is also a girl) Evelyn. Colton and Evelyn have always been BFFs, but will living together in quarantine raise tensions enough to push their relationship to the next level?

Review: I didn’t expect much from this book, I thought it would be a lighthearted rom com that would boost my spirits after my last heavy read… WRONG! This book was wonderful! There were funny moments, serious moments, and high & low emotions. I loved Colton & Evie’s friendship. They are so comfortable with each other and I love how the football team loves Evie too!
This was a quick read that I could have finished in one night, but I started reading at a busy time.

You should totally pick up this book once it releases on 10/5/21!! 😍

Absolutely loved this! Steamy, sexy, and so funny. I loved Evie and Colton’s chemistry and easy relationship. Plus, the secondary characters were hysterical and I’m desperate for a Harrison/Penny book. The spice was perfect, and the banter between everyone was so, so good. The wit and the pace of this book was also really enjoyable. So well done! *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Fun new author

This is a fast and fun read. I think the love scenes were maybe a little to disruptive but that's really kinda subjective. I enjoyed characters and will definitely pick up the next in the series(there is a next, right?).

Quaranteam by K. Archer is such a funny and cute, steamy read.

In a world set very similar to our own (cough-pandemic-cough), two best friends are thrust together by chance due to a shutdown. Colt and Evelyn are just such incredible and likable characters from the very first chapter. For her debut, K. Archer killed it. The chemistry and steam and just all-around humor... *chef's kiss*.

This was a great book and I recommend it to anyone who loves romantic comedies!
