It was actually really good!

A couple of punctuation errors but they were minor. An extra space or an extra quotation mark where there shouldn't have been. First person omnipotent point of view.
I really enjoyed this retelling. I've read most of the ones that are out there and I have to say that this one is really unique in regards of the fact that it is not inherently exclusively fantasy-based but a fun and modern twist to an old tail. I liked the fact that there were not any actual magical powers or abilities present. The pacing was good and the characters were relatable. I also appreciate the strong emphasis of consent and the research and detail that went into the "scenes" and the "lifestyle" (quotation marks used because I don't want to get this flagged LOL) Would have loved to have seen an epilogue, but I am mostly satisfied with the happy ending. All in all, a pretty decent book for sure.
