I love that we get to see the still-scorching married life of James and Penny as they make the most of their time together while they await the birth of their first child. Seduction was hot, hilarious, and full of emotions. But not only that, witnessing the wedding of Rob and Daphne was an added bonus. Likewise, Ivy is a genius at tying together all of her interconnected series with nods to Empire High, The Society, and Men of Manhattan, including cameos from some of our favorite characters.

Okay, you know going in this will be hot. I mean, the title says it all. And it doesn't disappoint on that, especially during a night they had that involved handcuffs. Like, whew! James really leans into the role play there, and it's one of the best steamy scenes I've read in awhile. But also, you guys...this book is so freaking funny. Way more than I expected. I laughed as much as when I read Single Girl Rules. Like, actual laugh out loud moments.
Besides more of James and Penny, who we love, we get Rob and Daphne's wedding, so yay for allll of that. And we get more of Matt, no secret reveals there, but he sure keeps us on the hook for more of his story. Please don't read this if you haven't read the James and Penny books leading to it. But I loved it more than I thought I would. I mean, I don't recall another author going back and writing a story for a couple, at least a full book, in the middle of their other books. I wasn't sure how that would go. But I'm glad she did.
Besides more of James and Penny, who we love, we get Rob and Daphne's wedding, so yay for allll of that. I have been a fan of Ivy's for 6 years. When I found her she had the first 3 books of The Hunted series out and Devotion was set to be released. As all her books come out I devour them. I was lucky enough to get an Advanced copy of Seduction and let me tell you it was everything I didn't know I needed and more. You get to see what happened between Devotion and A Whirlwind of color. The spice level is 🥵🥵🔥🔥🌶🌶 HOT! James and Penny are back and hotter than ever! Without spoilers I will say chocolate syrup, Bachelorette party Jealous James 🥵. It is like she took a page out of The Society. That being said. I have enjoyed watching Ivy's work grow for the last 6 years and I am in awe of her and Ryan I love reading anything they come out with! Thank you Ivy for your amazing work that has kept me falling more in love with reading!

I love Ivy Smoak but was kinda disappointed in this book. It just was not the steamy romance like the other books about James & Penny. She made Penny seem very immature and the whole plot was just kinda cheesy. It was not a book that I just could not put down because it just did not hold my attention. I love me some James & Penny and hope the next books are better.

Holy hotness!!! 🥵 you’re going to need a fan for this one! The title is absolutely perfect because there is enough Seduction in this book to give all the other books a run for their money. As always, James and Penny 😍 I could read their story forever and the seduction tools they each use on each other are 🥵 bachelor and bachelorette parties, chocolate syrup, strippers and more! Also get some extra tidbits with characters Tanner, Nigel, Matt, and Justin. Also Justin and Matt 💔 it’s a definite MUST read!!!

Get ready to laugh and cry and feel super hot because this is a must read! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC! There is so much going on in this book from sexy Penny and James scenes to heartbreaking Matt scenes and finally Rob and Daphnes wedding. I was so excited for the wedding. Rob is hilarious and by far one of my favorite characters. Daphne makes you laugh with her inconsistent food ordering and million questions. Just wait for the food tasting! You will want to shake Daphne right along with our beloved Justin. He makes an appearance as our favorite wedding planner and even has some other plans up his sleeve. You will love the bachelorette party because it is planned by none other than Justin and may include strippers that will look very familiar! (Hint: our favorite 2 sets of brothers) We even get appearances by Tanner, Nigel, and Tim. Of course, Mason and Bee bring the laughs, as well.
Ivy’s books wouldn’t be complete without a little heartbreak and emotional scenes. Cue Matt. He does not like weddings and those that have read the Empire High series know why. This book makes you feel so sad for him but excited to see what his future has in store in the next Empire High book. Let’s be real we know it’s a Mattlyn happily ever after!

Ahhh I really believe my heart and soul needed this book and it does feel like coming home when I’m immersed in the lives of James & Penny and all the amazing gang.
Rob is just so loveable and I loved seeing the build up to Rob & Daphne’s wedding through the eyes of Penny.
I love Mason & Bee and how can we not love Justin & Tanner they are so fab and would have been an awesome couple to be fair… but we know who Tanner falls for in The Society.
However since reading the EH series I just can’t help but love Matt so much more, the heartbreak he feels at every wedding he attends must be soul destroying and he so deserves his #Mattlynforever
Justin also hurt my heart when he was talking about Brooklyn without Penny knowing who he was talking about but I’m confused and wonder if he deliberately gets Matt’s name wrong as of course he knows Matt & Brooklyn were together and I can’t wait for the next EH book.

This book was kinda insane.
I mean ... nope ... no kinda. 100% insane.
But here's the deal.
Because it takes place after the drama of book 4 in The Hunted series, James and Penny NEED a moment to be light.
But that all meshes with the fact that James' baby brother is getting married. So that's an unexpected twist to the time that James & Penny want to share with each other.
I would say this - it's a good book, but - I would highly encourage readers to have read at least the first 4 books of The Hunted Series, possibly the first 3 books of the Empire High Series, and the first two books of the Men of Manhattan Series.
Why?
All their lives are wrapped in this book.
It makes sense with much of the dialogue and plot of the book.
So get to reading then get to enjoy the sweeter, steamier version of this relationship between James & Penny!

The plot of this book and the spice? Chef's kiss! 🔥
Yeah, yeah, I know. But listen, it's addicting!
I found myself enjoying the story, the shotgun wedding and Penny and James seduction. It was fun, but the writing took on a little bit of a childish note. Mostly with Justin and Kristen. They were both so inappropriate it was insane. I'm intrigued about the friend group's backstory, mostly Mason and Bee's and also of course Matt. I'm getting tired of every man in this book lusting over Penny. EVERY ONE OF THEM, EVEN THE TAKEN ONES. Saying that, those lap dances were out of this world hot! 💦
Not much happened in comparison to the previous book but I enjoyed this chill sexy vibe. Both Penny's and James's interactions with the baby were beyond adorable. And the spice was good in this book. It felt like they took a trip down memory lane with some strong role-playing!
I'm taking a break from their story because the rest of the books are older than this one and I know it's going fill the amount of bullshit I can handle. 😂
I have no shame, it's insane.

As an advid Ivy Smoak Supporter I fell in love with James & Penny. Ive loved and felt every part of their journey and the other book characters that have been added to make their extended family. The moment that my ARC hit my InBox I did a happy dance. I was not disappointed. The writing style showed the insecurities of the characters, the fun side of them, and intimate moments. Characters struggles with past tramas and heartbreaks that still haunt them. Ivy has u emotionally invested whether tears , laughs, or kinky handcuffs. I love that Ivy took the time to continue such a great love story and brings the extended family together for another Justin involved wedding. Rob is one of a kind and there were so many Rob related moments that I still laugh about. What a adventure this wedding and planning and party's it turned in to! I could read this book series a hundred times and never tire of it. Great Job Ivy. Look forward to the next book.

Well holy hell on a cracker!!!
Ok so firstly the smut in this is freaking incredible!!! I thought the first book was hot but my god this took the biscuit!!!
Secondly Ivy why do you have to make me cry all the time lol I totally had little sad moments.. I won’t lie!
I love penny and James but what I loved most about this book was also how it included Daphne and Bee and Mason and Matt and Rob! As well as Tanner and Brendan and all the other characters that popped up
The bachelorette party…. So can Justin plan mine pleaseeeeee haha someone find me a Justin it was perfection!!!
Loved the little nod to some of the other books like Empire High, The Society and Single Girl Rules. Ivy truly has a way of weaving worlds that interact perfectly!!!
So now I’m sitting her after finishing the book just craving more of Ivy’s writing as usual lol… it’s ok to completely reread every book she’s written right?

I can never get enough of Penny and James! Their chemistry is always off the charts. Neither can keep their hands off the other. This book was such a page turner. It had me laughing so hard at times. Wait til you find out what happens! Penny, James, and their friends and family sure do have a lot of fun together. We have not only a baby coming but also another unexpected event happening. This blew my mind. It made the rest of the book so eventful up til the last moment! All the while James and Penny coming up with 5 months of seduction. Seeing the things they came up with was unbelievably hot. You will be shocked at what the babies nursery turns into also. You also see their banter and how one thinks they are having a boy, and one thinks they are having a girl. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Penny is pregnant and her and James are enjoying their time, if you know what i mean 😉😉. They are still very much in love and they still have smoking hot chemistry between then. They are my favorite book couple!
We get to see everything leading up to Daphne and Robs wedding, all of the characters we love are back plus some from Ivys other books. Basically, this book is chock full of hot guys and amazingness!
I wanted to hug Penny so many times, and i can't lie, jealous James is FINE!

This is absolutely my favorite James and Penny book. The couple definitely spice things up in this book. And it's not just James that will make you swoon. All of the Untouchables will have a chance to make your kindle melt. I loved that Ivy brought back so many characters in this book. There were so many mentions of aspects of other books like the Society and the Single Girl Rules. Ivy slays with her ability to connect all of her books and characters so flawlessly. I devoured this book in one day. It's filled with tons of sexy time and moments we have been dying to see. It's a fun and sexy book, but Ivy still pulls at your heartstrings with a lonely and heartbroken Matt. She leaves you dying for not only the next Seduction book but also the next Empire High book. I highly recommend this book!

You have no idea how much I missed James and Penny. This book has everything; the spicy moments, the funny moments, the crazy/wild moments, and the cute/sweet/adorable/sentimental moments. You never know what will happen with James, Penny, and the gang, they always seem to get into trouble. If you are a fan of Rob or Justin, you will love this book. This book has the best group friends or has they would say family and they all are really there for each other. They always seem to like embarrassing Penny. Another thing, when you read this book, you will learn that Penny is not a very good negotiator. This book is a definite favorite read. Also, I suggest reading Ivy’s note at the end, you will thank me.

Holy Smoak, now I fell in love with Ivy books through the temptation series so you know James and Penny are forever my fav. When I say this book is hot I mean hottttt🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🌶🌶🌶🌶 how could it not be it’s all in the title. This book did not disappoint and let’s just say the alter scene has me fanning myself. Not only was this book so hottt but it was also funny. Such a good read and page turner. I love the way ivy can make you laugh and also tie in her other books and also bring in some of our favorite peoples. One of the best reads ever. I love being back in James & penny world seeing their life after they got married while awaiting the birth of their child. It was everything we needed and more. Everything we were missing & didn’t know we needed. Def a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love anything with Penny and James, but my actual favorite parts were those with Justin! I love him, and I am so glad to have him again as adults. It killed me reading about Matt and the way Justin acts around him. Makes me even more excited for the next Empire High! I also loved the scenes with Bee, Daphne and Penny. We don’t see much of their friendships! Daphne and Justin scenes were hilarious! Love her! Ooh also we learn a little more about Tanner! This was everything I was hoping it would be and perfectly tied Empire High, Hunted Series, The Society and Men of Manhattan together!

I've discovered Ivy this year and I couldn’t be more happy about it!
She is really a great author who has the ability to make me laugh every time I read one of her books!
In this case the prize goes to Justin, that has my heart: he is so hilarious!
I loved both the two main protagonists, James and Penny, too!
And let's talk about the steamy scenes: so hot!!!
Now I need to read the entire series: can't wait to start the first book which is already on my kindle!

James and Penny are back with all of the passion we’ve come to know from them. Seeing a pregnant Penny and how wonderful James is with her gives us another side of him. I’ve really enjoyed the preparations for Rob and Daphne’s wedding. Definitely no disappointment there. Ivy didn’t give us any hints as to what’s in store fro Matt’s future. Another winner from Ivy.

Oh Ivy, I love you and your writing, but this book was not my favorite. I got about 60% through and gave up because I feel like the characters were lost. James was not James and Penny was definitely not Penny. They were immature and annoying. This book was definitely fluff and I was highly disappointed.

OH MY WORD. Can we give this all the stars in the world!?

James and Penny in this book - 🥵🥵 things definitely stepped up a notch and James's mouth OMG! He had me hyperventilating. He was pure filth and I LOVE this side of Professor Hunter😏. Penny decides she wants to do a 5 month seduction before baby arrives and lets just say, it is off the scale HOT. They can't keep their hands of each other and are constantly giving f**k me eyes. James and Penny are just so perfect for each other.

When James said this, let me tell you I got ALL the feels🥵. We needed this side of Professor Hunter, please don't let him go! The surprise he done for her upstairs - OH MY GOD. I could have lived in that scene for the rest of my life and died the happiest person ever. Also the Bachelorette party was 🥵- How lucky is Penny!!
Rob and Daphne are amazing. I will never get enough of Rob. I loved reading about them and their wedding was just perfect❤️ .
I loved how this book was a bit of everyone all the characters came together and it was like one big family. Honestly, James, Penny and all the gang being together just make me so happy.
When Ivy says, reading about James and Penny feels like coming home, it really does. You get this fuzzy, happy feeling every time your reading about them and also the Caldwells.
Matt and Justin did make me cry in this book. The minute I see Matt's name I cried!🤦♀️. When they talk about certain things, I just couldn't not cry. I need to hug Matt. I really do.THIS IS A HAPPY AND VERY STEAMY BOOK I PROMISE! My EH gang will understand why I got emosh lol.
Ivy - I will ever be finished with them all, please don't let them go, let them keep telling you they have more to give, esp Professor Hunter. My heart will break the day u say there will be no more. I'm already ecstatic about the next book. I want yearly updates on all the gang. A book a year for James and Penny will suffice i think.❤️

It's fun, it's super steamy, and it's about a couple who's already in love making the most of their free time together before their lives completely change. It was great!
The title should say it all, but James and Penny, are working hard to seduce one another before their life changes in a few months when their first child is born. There aren't many romance books that focus on married couples, especially smexy ones, but this book includes food play, role-play, and basically all kinds of play that keeps their seduction spicy. It was fun to read about a happily married couple thoroughly enjoying one another.
There is also a secondary story, because in this world, the lives of the Hunter brothers is closely tied to the Caldwell brothers, so they are never far behind. Penny and James spend time with Rob, Mason and Matt while they help prepare for Rob's upcoming wedding, along with a lot of Ivy's other colorful characters that have popped up along the way. For fans several of her series interconnect in this book, but it can also be read as a standalone if this the only series or book you've picked up.
Seduction is sweet, funny, and spicy - normally a hard combination to put together, but Ivy Smoak does it flawlessly.

When Ivy announced there is a new James and Penny new book, I was so excited, they are my favorite couple and their love story is the best.
So, James and Penny are back and they are hotter than ever.
The book shows mostly all main characters from The Hunted series, Empire High series and Men of Manhattan series. I was very happy to see Rob’s marriage proposal and his and Daphne’s wedding. Rob is hilarious and has the most fun energy possible. Matt is also there with his sadness that appeared more than we saw in The Hunted series. Justin made a strong appearance and he was the best fun we saw of him than before. Even Mason and Bee, Brendan, Tanner and Nigel were there to complete picture to perfection.
The best was seeing James this free and funny with a lot of filth and dirty talking. HE WAS HOT. It was great to see how happy he and Penny are. Penny was fighting with her anxiety, insecurities and jealousy in the cutest way. The scene of role play was the best I have read in a long time and the bachelorette party was hot and fun. The book contains the best love making scenes with all the memories and emotions.
I think I can never get enough of James and Penny and the expectations of more books like this are most welcome.
