Stolen Treasure

Book 4 of the Gypsy Notes Series

All the pieces of the map are finally collected and assembled. Finley and her mates are hoping for a peaceful and eventful journey. Of course that doesn’t happen.

Finley gets an unexpected surprise in the form of her mother and father, who are still alive. All they want is to follow the map and find the treasure, but that’s hard to do when Finley’s parents keep popping up at inopportune times.

At least the angels are leaving them alone...right?

As Finley, Stolas, Verkor, and Obsidian travel through the Heaven Realm, she learns a little more about herself and what happened in the past. Things come to a head with her parents and a fight breaks out. Once the dust settles and they continue on their journey and make a discovery of a lifetime.

Now comes one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

This is a Hi/Lo read book. This is perfect for anyone who is a struggling reader, reluctant reader, or even just a reader who wants a quick read. There are multiple good messages throughout this book dealing with compassion and jealousy. Two adult sisters are in conflict from the beginning as one feels like the other was the "favored child" growing up. This jealousy is passed down to the next generation causing issues for cousins. The same situation is also seen in a friendship setting where one friend seems to be good at everything while the other friend struggles to be the best in anything. Throughout the book, choices are made that end up leading to solutions instead of perpetuating the problems.

This book is about this family who has this very important painting stolen. The main character,Isa has a Aunt that is jealous of her own mother. Her Aunt claims that her sister (Isa mother) is the favorite child because their mother gave her this very precious painting. This painting was made by an artist their father or grandfather hired. Their grandfather or father then dies. That painting was the last gift from him. So there mother or Grandmother gave the painting to the second child ( Isa mother) instead of the oldest child.

Amazing read! I love this series!
Finley and her guys have assembled all parts of the map and are now on the final leg of her journey. But this seems harder than finding the map especially when her estranged parents enter the mix.
This is the last book in the series and what an enjoyable read it has been.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a great ending for Finley and the gang. These characters have been through the ringer and made it out on the other side to get their happily ever after.

Stolen Treasure is hardly great literature, but it achieves the goals of the Red Rhino Books: text for and about older middle graders at a lower reading level than other books aimed at that age group. Stolen Treasure involves an Hispanic family whose treasure, an ancestral painting, disappears. The protagonist, Isa, explores all the options for how the picture went missing. In the process, she learns about the fears and foibles of her best friends, and applies them to her mother and aunt. Choose these titles for reluctant readers grades 3-5.

It was amazing...... I showed how human can feel jealousy and it's not a good felling to feel and it can get over friendships and i am not going to lie i have felt jealousy many times and had broken friendship sometimes... i wish people treat jealousy like this and be kind. we should not feel like the person who is jealous of us is always our enemies but sometimes just some people who are never able to get what they wanted because of us and they don't hate us but just want to win sometimes overall this was a fun little book to read
