Archer Hawkins and Mallory Halston literally run into each other and a true love story is born. Archer pursues Mallory with absolute determination making him fall hook, line, and sinker.
“I really would like to get to know you, Mallory.” His voice husky in my ear. “I don’t think it’s a good idea, I’m sorry.” I’m already kicking myself for turning him down. “That’s okay, I’ll ask again tomorrow, and the day after, I’ll get you to say yes in the end.”
But just when they’re about to get everything they ever hoped tragedy strikes leaving Mal alone and adrift. Putting his past behind him Mal stumbles upon Cooper’s Ridge. Changing his name to Carter, he takes a chance, becoming a bartender at The Last Drop Inn, and embarking on a new life. Local attorney, Dan Mortimer, has finally found and captured the heart of Cooper’s Ridge’s newest resident, Carter.
“I was coming in to see you, and maybe get you to agree to dinner with me. C’mon Carter it’s only dinner, I’m a nice guy I promise.”
But when Dan’s college friend comes to town to recuperate after a horrible car accident, it seems the most important men in his life may have something to answer for. And just how far will an evil, conniving, homophobic mother with a vendetta go to bring them all down?
Here Without You is a gay ménage story with plenty of hot sex and strong language and is therefore suitable for readers aged 18 and over.
Hiding behind a quiet unassuming facade J J reads and writes hot sexy stories. Stories of men loving men as well as women loving men. What would the neighbors think!!
As long as the men are hot alpha's and the women are strong in their own right then they have a place in J J's books.
JJ also has a kinkier side and writes under the name of AG Silver. So, make sure you look out for those books too.
I get that people loved it, but I just couldn't. When the old fiance enters the picture, Carter/Mel is like "I love you but I love him too" which is fine, but he goes into the bedroom with his current boyfriend and they fuck. And he was like "I don't think we should I don't want to make him feel bad or leave before we can talk" and then his boyfriend who is SUPPOSED to be the BEST FRIEND of the old fiance, is like "do it anyway" (basically) and he does. So they have sex while the other man they (especially "Carter") supposedly love is in the other room. They had LEFT the house, only to come back PANICKED that the guy would leave. And when they come back, to basically fuck right under his nose. And I get that they're in a relationship but the guy JUST came back and it's not like they broke up-one half though the other was dead, and the other half thought he'd been abandoned in a hospital to recuperate. So it's not a simple break-up-and-now-I'm-with-this-guy. AND It's literally THE NIGHT of revelations, and the old fiance is CLEARLY hurting, and they're really gonna rub it in his face? And remember, it's not just a shock to Old Fiance's system. "Carter" thought he was DEAD. They (Carter at least) might not be trying to hurt OF intentionally, but they're doing it where he could hear, "Carter" already had misgivings about the action, and as far as I could tell, before they hightailed it to make sure he didn't leave the apartment they were just going to go to bed at that other apartment because they were both tired. It very much felt like Current Boyfriend was marking his territory. If it was the right thing to do, "Carter" wouldn't have hesitated, (and it wasn't out of guilt cause he explicitly states he'd feel none, he's with current boyfriend, it was in FEAR THAT HIS OLD FIANCE WOULD FEEL HURT AND LEAVE before they could talk.) There's a difference between "consenting adults" and "a dick move". Literally the night the ex who isn't really a ex reenters the picture and you returned for the sole purpose of making sure he didn't leave and did The Thing KNOWING it might drive him away and hurt him. There's a time to say "suck it up" and a time when those same actions are cruel. This fell into the latter. This was internally hurting him, when he did not deserve it. He's not listening to his ex have sex with his best friend, he's hearing the man he thought abandoned him at his lowest whom he was suppose to marry, have sex with his best friend. They couldn't even wait one night to fuck under the same roof as him, night even give one night to the consideration of feelings of a guy they claim to both love. That's not love.
SUPPOSEDLY they love the guy. The same dick of a current boyfriend who urged him to forget his misgivings about the guys supposed "other love" and have sex with him anyway where the old fiance could hear, despite a blatant disregard of his feelings (aforementioned), they apparently both want him and want him to be apart of their lives, 3 of them together. Not buying it, bub. Maybe on the confused part of "Carter", but the other two it was like to trim up this mess. All of a sudden I'm supposed to believe the current boyfriend "always loved" the old fiance. And vise versa, a man who never thought about it all of a sudden wants both of them? HA.
There's a difference between "we had a bad break up and you need to get over it he and I are consenting adults" and "horrible things happened to split us apart, and I'm going to do actions I know will hurt you even though I claim to love you (too)." Sheesh! Give a guy 24 hours to adjust at least! Learn some compassion and maybe what the word "love" ACTUALLY means.
This was a bit of a disappointment ... I think it really started good. I liked Mallory and Archer together. yes it was all very sudden and love at first sight but well done. then the accident ... and here it starts to get annoying.
Carters story was well done till he started going out with Dan. even that was ok because first I thought Dan was quite ok ... till the night where they met Archer because seriously, how callous do you have to be to pressure your boyfriend to have sex with you right under the nose of his former fiance, whom he thought dead ... and even though he knew that Archer could hear them!
After that I was annoyed with Dan ... that continues till the end. who is such a small light that - after his boyfriend tells them that he started to feel better about himself again and accept his former life says only "does that mean I lost the man I fell in love with"? instead of being proud of him and support him.
but support was not the strong suit of all three of them ... the big things they always had to do alone. don't know why because seriously ... if I have a partner I am happy when I get the support in difficult times.
another thing which really annoyed me was the menage part because for me it was not believeable. I always got the feeling that Dan and Archer just did not want to have Carter choose between them but they did not feel love for the other. even the sex scenes reflect that as they always concentrate on Carter ... and they are always the same. the first time it was sexy and hot ... but when you read nearly the same sex scene the fourth or fifth time it just gets boring.
whom I really liked were Archer and the secondary characters ... nevertheless, I am not sure if I will pick up the first book.
so all in all, this could have been a good story but unfortunately it did not turn out that way for me. so just 2 stars as it was in parts ok

I had trouble with this story. I got super anxious and irritated by Archer’s mother. Dan, Carter, and Archer didn’t match in my head. I just didn’t feel them. The family drama didn’t work for me either. While the writing was good, I always love this author’s work, this story didn’t do it for me. I’m just looking forward to the next one from this author.
If you’re looking for a book that gives you a fantastic twist, warring emotions, all the hot sex JJ Harper is known for, and a HEA that brings it all together, then her Here Without You will fulfill you.
Archer Hawkins and Mallory Halston’s love story, told over the first quarter of this book, is fast paced, full of detail and quite instant love, but important in its portrayal of the absolute adoration Mal and Archer hold for one another. Archer is nothing if not persistent and determined in his pursuit of Mal. In fact he comes off a little stalkerish at first, telling Mallory, “'Oh, Mallory, I’m not letting you go that easily. I want you. I’ve made that perfectly obvious.'” But hey, when you know someone is right, you know. And that’s never more apparent than when Mal feels the connection too and tries to distance himself, thinking “Last night, with Archer, was something so real, so life altering. Is that why I bolted?”
Escaping his grief Mal stumbles upon Cooper’s Ridge taking a job as a bartender and changing his name to Carter. Here is where his story truly begins.
But Mal’s future with Archer is more than he could have ever imagined given the sorrow of his past. Even faced with the challenges of Archer’s hateful, homophobic, and spiteful mother, where they are about to end up is truly beautiful. Until tragedy strikes and Mal is left adrift.
Escaping his grief Mal stumbles upon Cooper’s Ridge taking a job as a bartender and changing his name to Carter. Here is where his story truly begins.
Even though those of who’ve read Denver’s Calling, book one in the Cooper’s Ridge series, might recall Carter showing up towards the end, you can definitely read Here Without You having no past history and enjoy every single moment.
After spending six months in his new life Carter is finally ready to start a new chapter. But just as he begins to reciprocate the flirtations of resident attorney, Dan Mortimer, he couldn’t have foreseen coming face to face with a ghost from his past. As Dan’s good buddy comes to town trying to piece his life together it seems he and Carter may have something to answer for.
Can two men recapture what they had or are they changed enough to realize they need more…. Can they believe they deserve more?
I can’t imagine the utter bewilderment of letting your heart open to something you never foresaw. And the bright spot for Carter is having three men with experience to help with his confusion.
What transpires is a build-up of feelings that are intense and you immediately know that Harper is going to put your heart through the ringer before secrets are revealed. Can two men recapture what they had or are they changed enough to realize they need more…. Can they believe they deserve more?
There’s angst, jealousy, fear…even suspense as one of the men is targeted and the fallout is not what you expect, but discloses just how far a homophobic mother will go. And ultimately brings Carter full circle.
One of the things I enjoy most in Here Without You is that just when you think these men aren’t going to address their building internal confusion, the struggle that they aren’t enough for each other or the right one, their fear that things might be progressing too fast or that they may have made the wrong decision, they do. Individually and together. And for those who like an ending with it all…you’re gonna love how tidy JJ wraps this one up. With every heart gushing, awwwww moment possible!
I don’t like giving less than 3 stars. this is an exception.
The Author doesn’t know when to stop! the story goes on and on. I have read quite a bit of menage based books but this is bottom most of the list.
The writing is good but the plots is most unrealistic
There were so many times than I wanted to DNF which I rarely do, but pressed on and continued. 30% was very clinical but probably understandable as its the ‘past’ explained but the skip in time keeps continuing throughout the book. Once all 3 of them meet the flow is seamless but still very slow pace. Every menage relationship has insecurities of being left out of the relationship but the story invests way much time to ‘get over’ that issue. I often checked how much of % of the book is left… could not wait for finishing the book.
Can the story be portrayed better? definitely because there are books that were able to do it. This book just left me frustrated… never though a menage book could accomplish that.
this was perfect.... pure perfect.. i loved it so much and watching them come together and figure things out together.. all 3 of them.. it was amazing.. and i loved it so much!
The second I heard we were getting the story behind Carter I couldn’t wait to read it! And let me tell you, I was definitely NOT disappointed!
Carter took over as bartender for Denver when he went back into medicine. Kes knew that the sad young man who rode into town had a story but he was willing to wait patiently to find out. When Carter finally lets Dan take him out it was a pivotal moment in the young man’s life. Then Dan woos him until he finally realizes that he can have happiness again after his fiancé was killed in a horrible car crash. But Dan and Carter’s live are thrown into a tailspin when Dan’s best friend and college lover comes to visit.
I was a huge fan of the first book in this series “Denver’s Calling”. As a matter of fact it was one of my “Best of 2017” picks so I couldn’t wait for this book. What I didn’t realize was that it is also a ménage, one of my most favorite styles of books. So it was a super treat.
I usually find one character that I feel the most for. But all three grabbed hold of me. From Carter being tossed out and left basically penniless by his despicable father and spineless mother for coming out to losing the love of his life, his fiancé Archer in a horrific car crash, Carter has had it really rough. And Archer finally found the man that he could stand up to his vile, meddling, homophobic mother. I don’t want to give away any secrets but the twists and turns this book took me through were both agonizing and exciting at the same time. And poor Dan. He finally finds happiness and then has to watch to see if it slipping through his fingers.
JJ Harper takes ménage and makes it very special. I have loved her past books but this series really stepped it up. It is well written and balanced, which isn’t always easy in threesomes. I loved that we saw each of the men’s point of view so we saw their struggles when they began this unique relationship. I can’t recommend this newest book in the series. I am hoping that we will get Carter’s friend Paris’ story next. Great book in a fabulous series!

This is book two from the series, Cooper’s Ridge. I would say that you could enjoy this book reading it as a standalone, but I would encourage anyone to read book one, Denver’s Calling first, simply because it’s a beautiful story that needs to be read.
J.J. Harper has done it again. I couldn’t put this book down. This Author had me on page one. I just knew this story was going to engross me.
Mallory and Archer were such a loving couple. They had their whole lives ahead of them together. Love, laughter and steamy sex sessions that would have kept them more than satisfied for years to come. And that would have happened if it hadn’t been for, Archer’s interfering mother. That woman is pure poison, hell is where she is headed that’s a certainty.
When Mallory builds a new life at Cooper’s Ridge he is heartbroken. And to be honest I was just as upset. I was taking this journey with both characters and literally felt my heart crack. I considered messaging the Author to ask her, why she did that? I’m sure she loves to receive fan mail. (inserted cheesy grin here).
Archer was just as broken and trying to rebuild his life since Mallory left. None of it makes sense, right? Well, all will become clear when you read.
Mallory now know as Carter to his friends in Cooper’s Ridge, decides to go on a date with Dan. He’s a good guy and a total hottie by all accounts why shouldn’t Carter go on a date with him. Life has to go on, right? I liked Dan, but the whole time I was crushed because of Archer.
It was a complicated turn of events that took place throughout this story, but if something is meant to be then it will be.
Archer decides to visit his friend in Cooper’s Ridge. Oh, Boy! Yeah, his friend is none other than Dan. Dan is dating Carter. Carter is Mallory who was in a serious relationship with Archer. I swear my heart was beating so fast I thought I was going to hyperventilate.
The climax to this story was just incredible. I didn’t ever want it to be over. Three men, three hearts with so much love to give. But considering the previous shattered lives what will happen is anyone’s guess. HA! I know, I know, but you don’t know, so I’m not going to tell you what I know. You’ll have to read and get in the know.
Tempted to read? Don’t even think twice. You love M/M Romance, right? Well, then go one click because baby this book will melt your heart and everything else below it.
Wow, wow and more wow! Okay time to get serious, this is the second book in the Cooper’s Ridge series, the first one being Denver’s Calling and here we get to know Carter’s story whom we meet in the first book. I’m not going to say much about the storyline because this is one book that is better going into blind...trust me! Carter has a sad backstory and needing a change he arrives in Cooper’s Ridge and finds himself a job in the Last Drop Inn, after a while he begins to date Dan, a local who has been giving him the eye for a while. It’s from here that the story snowballs into something unexpected in the best way with a very surprise guest. We also hear from Denver, Kes & East from the first book and I loved seeing them again as they helped Carter, Dan and their partner come to terms with the blossoming relationship and help them to navigate some rough waters. This story is just... how do I say it...F****** brilliant...it’s heartbreaking, emotional, sexy and hearmending all in one beautiful MMM package . J J weaves a tale of intrigue and spice and wraps it up in a nice bow of clever writing and skill that is breathtaking. She delivers on all levels and I dare you not to become involved and invested in her characters. This tale was a rollercoaster, with twists and turns, great characters, an evil mother and shocking revelations... it will leave you gasping from both shock and excitement ( sniggers... I just totally went there 😂) and damn you’ll have a really big smile by the end because it’s just that kind of book. So thank you again J J Harper for taking us away on a Journey that’s full of triple M goodness🔥 my hearts is full ❤️ Sigh...go on guys you know you want to get this book so I’ll stop rambling and you can go and read it!
JJ Harper has done it again. She has ripped my heart out and put it back together piece by piece. She really enjoys getting me to ugly cry for the wonderful characters that I just fall in love with and then creating a love story that almost gets me to forgive her. Almost lol. In this series, she makes a ménage seem so enticing and normal. Which, these days, they are becoming more common. I love how she takes tough topics and makes them beautiful. It’s still so disheartening to know that humans can treat another human so terrible, especially your own children. The homophobic mother in the book is the worst and what made it worse, was that this still happens in today's day and age.
Archer and Mallory have a wonderful love story and couldn’t be happier with each other. Archer had to do some convincing that they would be the perfect couple. He would show up every day to the coffee shop that Mallory worked at and didn’t give up until Mallory knew that they belonged together and were to be married. The day Mallory gets the marriage license, he was told about the horrible accident that took Archer from him. What Archer’s mother does to Mallory makes him pack a few things and move away to Cooper’s Ridge going by his middle name Carter.
Carter gets a job at the local bar as we all know as The Last Drop Inn. Kes takes Carter in giving him a job and the apartment upstairs. Carter is broken and struggles to move on but with the help of Dan, the local attorney always flirting with him, he starts to feel again and finally decides to go out with Dan. They become inseparable, and Carter is happy to feel this way again. They can’t believe that they are in love and deny saying it for some time, but they finally confess to each other their love for each other.
Dan’s best friend from college is coming to town, so Carter stays at his own place so the two friends can spend some time with each other and catch up. His best friend was in a horrible accident that nearly killed him and put a lot of metal in his body to hold him together. But nothing can hold his heart together since his fiancé left him while he was in the hospital. Imagine, to everyone’s surprise, when the three of them meet one night out for some dancing.
This book has had me laughing and crying. It has had me feel sadness and anger. But as always, JJ Harper has me wanting more and loving how she brings her characters through the tribulations of life and powering through everything bad and turning it good.
This is such an amazing and intriguing book. A story of love lost and found, with old and new lovers. I love these men, and I love Cooper’s Ridge. The place Mallory flees to when he has lost the love of his life, Archer, in a horrible accident. The men from Denver’s Calling, Kes, East, and Denver, help him to find peace again. Carter, who he likes to be called now, gets a new job and finds a new love. Something he wasn’t looking for, but local attorney, Dan, is just too sweet to resist. Then Dan’s best friend and ex-boyfriend, Archer, comes to town to recuperate from his accident. So far, it was already a fantastic story, but now it gets really interesting. It is sad and funny, smoking hot and so sweet, gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. These men have to deal with old feelings and new ones. Old lovers and new ones. How can they trust their feelings? The three men have a history in pairs. How can they ever give one up in favor of the other? Leave it to JJ Harper to give the three men what they want. No, what they need. She makes the men come to life. She is a master in balancing the dynamics between the three men. Never did I sense that one of the three was left out of the equation. Not that it is easy. They all have adjustments to make in their heads and their hearts, but with communication, trust and true love they can overcome everything. The former couples still have their connection, but the third man only adds to that in a completely natural way. It is also a story about family. I don’t want to give spoilers away, but these men don’t have the best family in the world, to say the least. And what some family members had done is beyond words. It is not often I hate characters, but now I do. But in Cooper’s Ridge, they find a new family, a family of the heart. With Kes, East, Denver, and let’s not forget little Phoebe, and all the other residents. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. However, as there are recurring characters, I recommend reading the books in order. Not in the least because you would otherwise miss out on another wonderful story.
Oh I loved this book, and the return to Cooper's Ridge. It seems that everything is perfect for Mallory and Archer, they have everything they could want. Then tragedy strikes. I was so at a loss after what Mallory/Carter went through that you are hoping for his heart to heal and get his HEA. Enter Dan the local lawyer that would love nothing more than to heal his shattered heart and maybe help him live again. Between Dan and Carter and a surprise twist that frankly I didn't see coming, love is found and lost and found again.
I absolutely loved this book! I loved returning Cooper's Ridge. I loved that Dan and Ash were willing to get over their insecurities to become the home that Carter needed. I was so surprised at what Mallory/Carter went through, I found myself hoping more for their HEA. My heart broke for Carter I loved that no matter what he went through he wasn't going to let it break him. poor Mallory and Archer, I thought everything was perfect for them. Then boom tragedy strikes! I could not put this book down. I was hooked from the first few pages! This book is a must read guys....
WOW, I thoroughly enjoyed 'Here Without You'. This book was so full of emotion, it was a real rollercoaster full of tears of heartbreak and more tears of joy. JJ Harper really did an amazing job with this edition of Cooper's Ridge, it was beautifully written, full of steamy bits and all the gorgeous characters from book 1 make a return. Can't wait for the next one.
A second chances book, Mallory or Carter as he recreates himself, looses the love of his life, on the happiest, only to find love again when his days are at their darkest, then the unimaginable brings the love of a third.
Reviewed for Amo's Book Corner.
I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I really enjoyed Carter's story. Like book 1, the sexual relationship between the guys developed really fast but was very emotional as they found their way together as a triad. Archer's mother was over the top horrible so I'm glad she got what she deserved in the end. My only small issue with the story was that Carter's initial reaction to seeing Archer again was not what I expected, but the loving way they all dealt with the angst, grief, and jealousy afterward made up for it. I also loved how supportive and wonderful Carter's Cooper's Ridge family was.
I was struggling with this triad, I didn't feel the bond between the three characters..until the very end.The storyline was good and entertaining despite some eye rolling coincidences.
Not my favorite menage book but not terrible. I didn't like it much in the beginning but it did get better. The story did seem to go on forever and I found myself drifting now and again and the plot was a bit on the unrealistic side. Like I said, not the worst but certainly not the best.
I simply love this series. Not only was this emotional, it was a beautifully written triad.
Mallory just broke my heart from day one. Openly admitting to his family he was gay, he was disowned and cut off financially, but he picked himself up and got on with life, working his way through college in a coffee shop.
Asher is a handsome lawyer who literally bumps into Mallory and then stalks him until he decides to finally go out with him, not giving a second thought to the age difference. The story starts there really, and shows how love can grow into something wonderful if left to it's own devices, but Asher’s mother has a different plan. Without giving too much away she finally splits them up under heart wrenching circumstances, that’s when Mallory leaves town to start again.
Mallory gets a job and lodgings in a bar working for the wonderful Kes, who himself has a heart of gold. This is where he meets another handsome lawyer, Dan, but is he ready to have another relationship? Is it too soon to mend his ripped out heart? He can’t keep thinking of Asher, he needs to move on.
I loved how this story was written. It was full of beautiful love scenes but also totes emotional ones, which had me sobbing on more than one occasion.
The twist and turns have you gripped right to the end. JJ has once again excelled in an amazing book.
3-3.5 My issues may not bother you, and my opinion varies from most of my friends on this one, so take it with a grain of salt.
I'm not sure where this is supposed to take place. It gives the impression of being in America, but then much of the wording is not how we would phrase things here. It threw me out of the story constantly, giving the story a stiffness that I don't think was intentional, and made my brain twitchy.
That said, if that is not something that would bother you, and you like a bunch of hot sex, and men who are on an emotional rollercoaster (with good reason, mostly) then give this one a go.
I read it straight through--well I dozed off a few times--but I had to see what happened. I would have rated it higher without the phrasing conflicts, which apparently I am allergic to. *sigh* I just wanted the author to pick a side, so to speak.
I love this series and these characters. The only thing I found a bit off was that sometimes the timeline was a little confusing. I loved Carter and Dan, but Archer was my favorite. I want to say I got a little teary eyed with Mallory and Archer's situation and before I was for sure what was happening I thought it was going to be another Troy for me, as in crying nonstop. While this book is emotional and I shed a few tears, I am happy to say that Troy will remain at the top of my bawler list. Here Without came in a close second though. JJ really knows how to make you feel the hurt from her characters. I'm hoping that Paris and Conn get a book next, perhaps even another threesome with Hunter, maybe???
I found the storyline to be too contrived which made it more annoying than anything reading about Mallory and Archer. My interest didn’t pick up until Carter/Mallory starts his new life and finds Dan. Then I had really hoped for a more paranormal spin when Carter has a dream about Archer saying to wait for him, wait for him. Wouldn’t Archer speaking to Carter through dreams make for a more exciting story?! Alas, it wasn’t to be. A missed opportunity in my opinion.
This book was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. The story was breathtaking, emotional yet scorching hot in all the right places.
Mallory and Archer had such a beautiful yet heartwarming connection. One day everything changed and I felt the pain, sadness and my heart shattering for both of them.
Dan was a sweet guy and I loved the fact that he was so patient with Mallory.
The chemistry between the three guys was absolutely amazing. Their conflicted emotions were captured perfectly.
Absolutely loved this book and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
When do you know, a book is good? I think, it’s good when your mother is angry about a missing lunch. I think it’s good, when your dogs are barking because you missed feed them dinner. I think it’s good, when your starving for food, because of missing lunch and dinner. But it’s definitively good, when all comes together with wet and burning eyes from reading the whole day. If you think, the first book was great, you’re right. But this is better! You have a shit of a mother, a bad of a father, coincidences you’re sad of and fate, which decided, that all will be good at the end. The way to heaven has a walk trough hell...
This book had all the ingredients, a worthy villain, seperation, reconcilliation, and one more yummy addition, I really enjoyed the read, and I love that JJ Harper didn't do that annoying thing some authors tend to do, saying it's a sequel and these people are friends and they're absent through the whole book.
Carter/Mallory seemed like the glue of the relationship which I wasn't completely fond of, I know they all loved each other but I would have like more of Dan and Archer expressing their emotions so to speak!
All in all it was pretty good read!! I wasn't a fan of the the distinguishing who's child was who's but I guess maybe in threesome family when adopting it's necessary!
Here Without You, book 2 in the Cooper's Ridge by J.J.Harper.
I love, love this author's books. And she didn't disappoint this time either!! All the emotions, the angst and the love!! And, don't forget the twists upon twists!
I felt with the characters, I felt their heartache, and love. It's so beautifully written, the connection between the three men!
I enjoyed the chase Archer gave Mallory in the beginningnand loved watching their budding relationship grow. I got so mad at his mom and her craziness. Skipping forward, I love the connection between the three and hope to see them in future books like three other guys we had glimpses of. Overall a great book. I cried and awwwed a lot.
