Great read for Halloween
This isn't my usual genre to read but it sounded good. After all, who doesn't like a good ghost story around Halloween? I sure did. This one had the hair on the back of my neck standing on end. Its one I won't forget for a while.

Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. This story was a mixture of campfire scary stories with an intriguing fictional plot. Good read!

I wasn't sure that I would like this book, the writing is very direct and staccato (it was the second one in a row I've read with this style of writing), BUT I stuck with it and enjoyed where the story went.
It's about a group of students who want to find out more about a local Urban Legend and while it seems like you know where the story is going, it isn't as cookie cutter as you might think. It was a very enjoyable read.
It doesn't really contain any gore, but just a looming feeling of threat. There aren't any sexual scenes that I can remember so this is a pretty *safe* book for horror readers. It kind of reminds me of found footage type of stories... you get introduced to a group of friends and then watch what befalls them...

Formatting issues (and there are a more than fair amount.. Shame on your editing, Amazon!) aside, this is a creepy, scary read! David Healy gives us a tale that embraces some of the best "college friends go investigating haunted cemetary" stories and mixes in a number of the legends surrounding Stull, KS. The end result is a story that will have you questioning sounds you here while reading, as I surely did, unintentionally the ever-loving crap out of my wife for the rest of the night it happened!
Look, I'm going to be blunt here: do you like horror? How about horror that sticks with long after you fall asleep? If you, then STULL is the book for you! Otherwise, I think perhaps Dr. Seuss may be more what you are looking for. Jus' sayin'..

I found this in my kindle library and don’t even remember how it got there. I am so glad I read it though. I have been on a horror kick lately but nothing has really been up to par. This on the other hand was a page turner. I didn’t want to stop reading it. The urban legends really drew me in. Story was great. Now to see what else Mr Healy has written. I’m curious.
(The only issue I had with this book is that all the way through there are paragraphs that are not indented. One paragraph will end and the next paragraph begins a line down and all the way to the left. Most likely it is just the kindle version but it started to get to me after a while.)

This wasn’t the type of book I usually read but After searching kindle unlimited and not seeing anything peeking my interest at the moment , I posted a question on Facebook about finding good books on kindle unlimited and lo and behold this particular author responded back to me and told me about his book . I thought , I’ll give it a try and I actually really enjoyed it .. not exactly sure why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars . Nothing specific causing it to be a 4 instead of a 5 but I stand behind my 4 star rating and yes I recommend reading this book

I started reading this one in July. It is now 2 days away from january.
It gets 3 stars because I did manage to get half way through, even though it took 6 months to make it that far.
I was intrigued by the story of this one, and wanted to finish it. I want to know what happens in Stull.
But Stull itself is about the only thing I'm interested in. I made it 51% through before I decided to DNF. I think I was having such a hard time getting into it, because I could care less about any of the characters. I didn't love them. I didn't hate them. They were as 1 dimensional as it comes.

Good reading
It was entertaining. Great on pulling the reader with the story. Good at having characters you can relate. Write more.
