A good holiday read - easy to read and engages you from the beginning. Some of the writing style is annoying - lots of repetitive sentences/points within the same chapter or subsequent chapters
i.e we learnt that Jane was dirty and a bad housekeeper multiple unnecessary times! Almost seemed like the author was trying to pad the chapters out or up the word count.
I really did enjoy it however and look forward to future books by this author 😊
