Gia x Zak
These two got on my last nerve. The back and forth was exhausting, but soooo addictive. I loved every second of it. Gia and Zak were a hot mess…equally. One didn't outshine the other. They both were equally hot messes and hard headed. The way they drove each other crazy was comical. I just know they're gonna hurt each other. I super loved this. Just two hot mess people falling for one another. But the journey was exhausting, but in a good way. So this was definitely a fun read.
Read a few books by this author before and haven't been disappointed, so I'll be back.

And that Janelle just run her mouth too much for me! Can't hold nuthing w/then loose lips
Kids some how always get the low end of the stick when parents make them choose sides. I'm so glad the truth finally came out in the end.
ps. Why do I always see some of my family in Your books 🤔 just so real

No Damage Detected
Sometimes couples need to step back and look at the bigger picture. A woman who does the same things men do is looked upon differently. Why is that the case? Double standards.... Gianna was looking for love in the wrong places. Zakari almost snoozed and loosed.

Beautiful love story.
This was a great read. Gianna's history and her reasoning for not wanting love were relatable. She & Zakari were exactly what each other needed. I'm glad he realized it early on & applied pressure.

Good story!!!
I enjoyed reading Gianna and Zakari’s story. Gianna got on my last nerves, but I could understand her feelings of being told something like especially in her formative years. Glad they got it together though!

The main male and female worked my last nerve
The sister to the male was just as bad

Loved this!
This was such a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed Gia and Zackari’s story. They are so relatable but I’m happy they both allowed love to do it’s own thing. Beautiful 🥲💗

Gianna moved and started a new job and was looking for a new life. She has a relationship with her bio dad and his family after years of no contact and is still mourning her mother and grandmother, two of the cornerstones of her life. She has no use for men outside of sexual release so she gets what she needs and moves on. But then her best friend's brother starts coming around and she realizes that he's grown up.
Okay, so I liked the story concept. But Zak and Gia were exhausting after a while, separately and together. Their insults didn't feel like banter, his judgment was weird considering he was just like her, and her pushing through on this relationship with her dad even though she was still so very angry with him had me wishing she would sit on somebody's couch. I felt for her, but get real. You need help; please get some. And as good as Zak was at pushing past her BS and making her confront her feelings, he shouldn't have had to do that every time. Her multiple run-ins with her casual encounters, especially when she was giving out a fake name seemed very messy. I would think someone as skilled as that as they made her seem would have it down a little more seamlessly. I did like that she was able to get to place of peace with her dad, and her and Zak's resolution.

Shaking My Head!
Gia and Zak… These two got on my nerves with the back and forth. It was too much watching them go at it when it appeared they both wanted each other especially Gia.
Her mom and grandma really put a sour tone in her mouth that seemed unshakeable.

The love hate relationship that Zakari & Gia had was so sweet. Love how the family dynamics played out in both their lives and their relationship.
