It feels weird to try this again. But I want a boy of my own. Someone a little bratty and fun and not so easily pushed over. And one that doesn't mind a bit of belly. I don’t have a long list of demands because all that really matters is that he loves me. Unconditionally.
Corny_Daddy Clay I’ve done this before. The last time I looked for a boy of my own I thought I’d found one. It was nothing more than a fantasy that never came true. But it seems Santa might have brought me a whole lotta boy with a whole lotta attitude. Ty is everything I could ever want. But he also drives me crazy. Can this small town even handle him? Ty A Daddy has been my secret desire for a long time. They all want one thing and while I don’t mind getting down and dirty, I need more than that. A firm hand, a good sense of humor, a man that will love me for something other than the family money. Is that so much to ask? Meeting Clay was a fluke. But now I can’t get this gruff, older man out of my head. Could he be my perfect Daddy?
His Boy to Tame is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many Daddies looking for some holiday magic to bring them their perfect boys, why not grab them all?
It took me sooo long to read this. I feel like these Naughty or Nice books are all the same. I just wanted it to be done so much that I skipped the last pages. I did not like Ty, Clay was a strange Daddy full of insecuritys. Nah.
I love this multi author series. All the seasons are available on Amazon, and most are available on Hoopla. There was a season one and this is part of season two, and there is also a season 3. I hope that it continues. It's called "Naughty or Nice". The kink club, Cuffed, sets up a web site where the 'Boys" and "Daddy's" can write letters saying what they are looking for in a potential partner or just a friend. They've already had background checks since both "boy" and "daddy" must be members of the club and the choice is theirs rather to meet up or not. The question they have to answer on site is if they want to be "naughty" or "nice". Clay is a Georgia farmer that has almost given up on finding love or finding a boy to even just play with. Ty is a bit of a brat that lives in Florida, comes with a set of controlling parents that have more money than good common sense and are determined that Ty is going to take over his father's company. Ty is determined that he is going to be as rebellious as possible and IS ABSOLUTELY NOT, EVER going to be taking over anything anywhere. Ty writes his letter and Clay's friends convince him to answer it. Turns out, of course, that they are simply perfect for each other. Clay the lonely "daddy" who is still very wary but still willing to try with a boy, and bratty Ty, who is hiding behind a lot of pain and anger and just needs a "Daddy" to guide, love, and protect him...and in Clay, he finds those things. These two have a pretty bumpy start but together they are simply amazing.
This is not really a Christmas story although it takes place around then. Ty is a wild child whose rich snooty parents are pressuring him to marrying the right guy and working in his dad's architectural firm. All he does is spend his time doing is riding his motorcycle with friends and getting into fights. Clay runs a small farm and after getting burned/ghosted by an on-line boy is pushed to apply for the on-line Santa thing. He then starts chatting with Ty and they chat for a few weeks, nothing sexual and then when Clay hurts his ankle, Ty (lives in Florida) takes off to Georgia to help.
It's a bit awkward and things get off to a rough start but eventually they fall into a comfortable relationship and Ty is getting the Daddy he needs and Clay gets a boy, but Ty's parents are essentially assholes and his mom guilts him into coming home for Christmas by faking crying to trick him. They apparently ignored the kid his entire childhood and now you give a damn? So he goes home and Clay is kind of an asshole and blows Ty off and after a bit of a fight, Ty goes out racing on his motorcycle and gets in an accident. His parents call Clay who comes running.
I enjoyed Clay and Ty together, they both needed to work on being true to themselves and letting walls down. But they were cute getting to know each other and figuring out what kind of boy Ty was. I was pretty pissed with his parents, he was 22 (Clay was late 30's), not 16. His mom figured out too late she was being a bitch but eh, I wasn't sure why he felt so much that he had to please them, on the other hand I know even abused kids want to win parental approval so... yeah. It was such an unhealthy relationship. /rant :-)
They store culminates in Christmas/NYE, so it's sort of a Christmas story but Christmas is not the focus per se.
Not awful necessarily, but not as good as this author's other works. A lot of spelling errors (even the hero's own name) and wrong words (like saying 'his cock squeezed around me' instead of 'his hole squeezed around me'). I normally don't care about grammar/spelling really so you can tell it was noticeable. Definitely a rushed story w little editing.
Georgia. After a quick chat on Cuff'd, they talked on the phone. Ty, Tyler, 22, black hair, brown eyes (cover) wants to be a mechanic, but his wealthy family wants him to use his Architect degree with their business. Clay, 39, beard with grays is big and strong who runs his own farm. He wrote to Cuff'd's Santa for a boy to love, even if he's bratty.
They spend time online and phone calls getting to feel each other out, but when Clay is injured, Ty flies to take care of Clay. For Ty, Clay is a dream come true. They like being together and eventually have sex when Clay is healed.
The farm chores are tough for Ty at first, but his heart says this is home.
The relationship flourishes, as Daddy/boy, and the realization that Ty is sometimes a "little." The men are each fragile, thinking they'll be rejected, even for a small mistake. Silly men.
Ty goes home after his Mom pressures him. It's a rough time for them to be apart and both men panic instead of communicating.
Clay comes running after Ty's Mom calls when Ty is in the hospital and Clay takes him home to the farm.
We get a terrific epilogue and much hope with the HEA. ENJOY !
I love the Naughty and Nice series and this book is no exception. Ty is your typical spoilt rich boy on the surface however he is in desperate need of a daddy. Clay is a farmer who is looking for boy to call his own and turns to Santa for help.
I adored Ty in this book. He was just so much more than I was expecting him to be. I loved how there was so much depth to his character and you really felt like you understood him. Clay was also so much different from what I was expecting and I loved his awful puns. You really felt invested with the two characters and I was hooked on this book from the minute I picked it up.
Such a sweet story! Clay needs a boy to love and spoil, to ease his lonely farm life. Ty needs a Daddy to keep him in line, his wild and rebellious side is out of control. These two are perfect for each other. A slow burn as they discover desires they had hidden from even themselves Great world building and character development, as always from this author. Some guest appearances from previous characters as well. An amazing read that will keep you enthralled to see what comes out of Ty’s mouth next!
Ty was such an adorable brat. I do love a brat and Ty was definitely a great one, but the layer of adorable little hiding underneath was a delightful surprise. Ty just needed some direction in his life. Someone to allow him to be free while reigning him in. Clay fit the bill perfectly. The fact that Clay was older than Ty worked for this story. He knew how to take Ty in hand while still letting him express his need for independence. Clay had his own set of mental obstacles to get over and these two were almost annoyingly timid around each other one they met in person. But once they got over that hurdle, I adored them together.
Ty, for his part, was 100% willing to do whatever needed to be done for Clay and his farm. I don’t feel like the people in his life gave him enough credit for that. I liked the reckless and reactional part of Ty’s personality. It added some spice to Clay’s life. And, boy, did Clay need some spice. Burned in the past and afraid to take a chance on the future, he was stuck in his own loneliness. Until Ty. Ty made his life richer and full of life. I wish their communication skills had been a bit better, but I really did adore them together so much.
We get a brief revisit with some of the Atlanta Daddies boys and we get a glimpse into the upcoming series Snow is writing, Mafia Daddies. Some good things to looks forward to. His Boy to Tame was a great story that packed a punch.
*I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
His Boy to Tame is a sweet, low angst story between Ty, a 22 year old bratty a boy who's a little lost in what path should take as he fights against his parents who are trying to force him into the family business and Clay (36) who's a jaded daddy after a few failed relationships. Clay is a laidback daddy which was nice to see. They meet through the Cuffd app, as is the premise for this series. Ty lives in Florida and Clay in Georgia. When the chance to meet in person comes, Ty jumps on the first plane. They have an immediate connection and both feel strongly for the other. However, as much as they both care, and want to trust, they both struggle due to past relationships. It takes awhile for walls to come down but that makes it so much better than they do. The pacing of the story is fast and generally worked well. I liked the callback to the Atlanta Daddies as well :)
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving my review voluntarily.
I loved multiauthor series because every one of them write a wonderful story following the given topic, in this case, the theme of a Daddy asking Santa for his perfect boy. I enjoyed a lot how Clay and Ty found each other, and how well one is the complement of the other, with a bratty but sweet boy and a very understanding but firm Daddy. A low angst story, that can be read as standalone, but I strongly recommend to read all the amazing books in the series simply to enjoy the best Daddy/boy’s stories out there. So good!
His Boy to Tame is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two series but all the books can be read as a standalone. This was an excellent read and I loved the characters. Both Clay and Tyler's stories were emotional and they both needed love in their lives. The book contained daddy/boy kink as well as some light age play. The book was heartwarming and I couldn't put it down. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A boy who is a little, a big cuddle daddy equals perfection as they iron out the kinks in their relationship. It was so sweet how Clay encouraged and helped Ty explore his little side. My heart was aching for Clay when Ty went home! Tears!!! These two have me high anxiety with their poor communication. Yikes!! Glad Ty's mom showed growth in the end. Great epilogue. I'm hoping Six gets a story soon. He's intriguing me already.
His Boy to Tame is the eight book in the Naughty or Nice series season 2 to release. This book is about Clay and Tyler. Tyler is a 22 year old who finished a degree he doesn’t want to use. Clay is a farmer in his 30's. The Cuffd app brings them together even though they are miles apart.
I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, fun, full of feels and very well written. And I loved the little cameo's at the end.
One of the best things for me about this book was that the daddy is a very ordinary person. He is a farmer not a millionaire. In fact flipping things around it’s the boy who comes from money. This is a very cute story in this second season of this fun series about people who meet because of a Daddy/boy app. Like a lot of mm stories this book focuses on how found families are often better than the ones we are born into. Lovely read.
Sooo Clay and Ty. *swoon* They both got me all up in the feels! Ty and his bratty side, I couldn’t help but laugh and roll my eyes. His sweet side just made me want to cuddle him and spoil him rotten. Clay, his insecurities so understandable, fought through them and came through for Ty when it really mattered. Loved this book!!!
Loved it! His boy to tame was a wonderful read. It was sweet, funny as well as a bit emotional. Clay and Ty met through an internet website. Clay is a Daddy looking for the right Boy and Ty is in need of the perfect Daddy. The dynamics between the two was great. I was involved all the way through. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
Love this... part of the naughty and nice series Clay & Ty are simply perfect for each other Clay is a daddy who's lonely but wary and looking for a boy to call is own. Ty's bratty but hiding behind a lot of pain and anger he just needs a Daddy to guide love and protect him and in Clay he finds that these two have a bumpy start but together are amazing. 💖💖
This was so cute and so sweet and sexy. I really enjoyed this from the beginning. I think my favorite scene would have to be the toy store, especially when Ty is like so excitable. It’s a really cool contrast from the personality we saw in the first few chapters. It’s a really clear distinction between this side of Ty and the sassy brash side of Ty. It really shows the depth of the characters. But when he gets very embarrassed for that one second when he speaks a little bit too loud? So cute and amusing. Ty is also very relatable, the character dynamics and relationships were very well established for a kind of short stand standalone story which really speaks to Skyler’s skill as an author. I just really adored this. Skyler Snow you rock!
I am going to call it ‘Read’ if I’ve gone to 25% or beyond. I am at 42% and not enjoying this Daddy/boy because I don’t like the characters very much. This far into the book and their in person relationship is just beginning and it’s not that great. The boy spends most of his time hiding in the guest room upstairs while Daddy and his sprained ankle stay downstairs. This lack of communication was not well written. Also, the character of neighbor wife is intrusive with annoying dialogue. DNF 42%
His Boy to Tame by Skyler Snow is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two series. It is the story of two men who long for a Daddy/Boy relationship. Clay is older and a farmer in rural Georgia who works very hard. He is lonely and tried the Cuffed Christmas app a year ago but it didn’t work out. His best friend urged him to try it again this year so he did, asking for a boy who is bratty that he can guide and love. There he found Ty. Ty lives in Florida with his affluent parents who didn’t have a lot of time for him when he was growing up and they are still trying to control him. He went to school to be an architect like his father but he doesn’t want to pursue that career. He would rather be a mechanic but his parents think that is below their status. He is taking time off and doing whatever he feels like doing, even though some things are dangerous. He longs to find a Daddy to love and cuddle him even though he can be bratty. Clay and Ty first text each other and then start talking. They find themselves attracted to each other and then Clay has an accident on the farm. Ty immediately goes to him to help take care of him. Their relationship grows as they spend time together and learn about each other’s personalities, likes, wants, and needs and this leads them to start being a Daddy and his Boy. It continues to grow until a situation occurs that sends it spiraling out of control and neither man knows what to do to change it. When another accident occurs they realize what they mean to each other and change their way of thinking and acting that eventually leads to their HEA. I really enjoyed this book as Daddy/Boy stories are my favorite and I liked how the situations the characters were in played out. They were interesting to get to know and to see how they related to each other as their love grew. Their friends and family also added to the story as they interacted with Clay and Ty. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to more from this author.
Hard to handle Ty (22) needs a firm-handed Daddy, farmer Clay (36) wants a bratty boy, and the Cuffd dating app works its matchmaking magic for another perfect pairing.
They form a connection early through texts and phone calls, and Ty rushes to help Clay after a minor accident on the farm. There are some growing pains as they get to know each other in person and fully open their hearts, but the two lonely men are on the same page with wanting love and a relationship (and one that includes lots of spank¡ng).
Ty's naughtiness is fun, and I liked how Clay is quick to see the loving, sweet, and needy boy underneath the tough exterior. I was fairly underwhelmed by their in-person meeting, but they make up for the lack of physical contact later.
Their relationship and story move at a brisk pace and it's all pretty low angst with playful and sweet moments, which made for a light and enjoyable read. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. (Also read in KU.)
I have a confession - often I find brats annoying. I know! Blasphemy! But, it’s because often I think all the focus is on the brattiness and there’s nothing more to the character than that. I loved that Tyler was so much more than his brattiness. He had depth and layers. He was a genuine person who made you fall in love with him. Clay was such a sweetheart and when these two came together I was just bursting with happiness. They really supported each other. Tyler genuinely wanted to support Clay and Clay wanted the same for Tyler. There was an equality in the relationship that can often be missing (IMO) when one character is depicted as a brat and it was honestly so lovely to see. To be fair, I expect such greatness from Skyler so I shouldn’t be surprised that it was there in abundance!
I loved this. In fact I love both Naughty or Nice series. What makes these even more exceptional is that you get each other’s take on the Santa letters and their unique writing styles. Yet it gets better. While these books are only connected by the Cuff’d app individually they are connected to the writers other work. So if an author is new to you there’s a whole new world to explore. If you’re like me then that’ll lead you to other series they have done. Like this one did for me with Skyler Snow’s new series. I adored Clay and Ty. Dirk and Molly are awesome friends. And Lucy is the cutest. Now I want to know all about their new friends who were there at the end and I’m eager to find out how Six is doing. See, a whole new world to explore.
I thought that this was an amazing book. I loved Ty and Clay together. Both Ty an Clay have been looking for something but haven't had any luck until now. Both Clay and Ty have been hurt/used in the past so both of them have their walls up which causes some issues for these two. I loved the connection and chemistry between these two but also the love, trust, understanding, and the need to be by each other. I can't wait to read about Six. I loved this book and I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Skyler as a must read author.
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Absolutely loving this series Clay and Ty are the perfect combination Ty a spoiler rich kid with no direction in life, or real support from his parents wants a daddy. So he replies to an add on the Santa app. Clay is working his farm alone but would love to have a boy of his own, to love, guide and cherish. They start online conversation, and we're getting on well neither approach the subject of meeting until Clay sprained his ankle. They had a few things to sort out while learning what the other wanted, but farm life suited Ty. Brilliant read I received an advanced copy of this book for a honest review
I loved this book! Ty is hilarious and so snarky, and Clay is exactly the man he needs to center him. There’s a lot going on under Ty’s bravado, and I just wanted him to be happy! Clay is so sweet and protective ❤️
Clay and Ty are both at something of an impasse: Ty wants direction, a force in his life that will care, about him and for him. Clay wants someone to take care of. Their messages become texts become a nebulous relationship that has plenty of sweetness and a bit of heat as well. As stories go, this one has all the elements you’d expect to find in a romance of this kind, and all the moving pieces work, although occasionally developments feel a bit rushed and the resolution for issues and problems in particular happen lightning fast, without as much substance as they might have. Overall, however, it’s an enjoyable read, but I do want to point out one thing: Clay’s character reads more like someone in his mid-fifties than his thirties. (Note to author: I don’t know who told you that people in their thirties don’t understand text acronyms and prefer calling to text, but…you were lied to).

Farmer Clay writes a letter to Santa on the Cuffd app asking for a bratty boy who is not a pushover and needs nurturing and correction but will love him unconditionally. Ty lives with his parents who are constantly trying to either set him up or get him into a worthy career, but all he wants is to avoid all of that and race on his motorbike. Ty would like a Daddy but he is tired of being used for one night of sex only. Can these two get together?
I enjoyed this story and the caring way that they both looked after each other and the way that their love grew over time with care and attention. I loved Clay's tolerance and Ty's passion for life. I thought it was clever to suggest that Ty might be more than just a submissive and that answered a lot of questions. I was thrilled when Ty's parents came to their senses. A great conclusion to the story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This story features mature content in this BSDM-like DDLB/Ds relationship.
