Their love will span the ages…and two very different worlds.
Dragon Knights, Book 6
Caught in a magical storm and deposited on modern-day Earth, twin dragon princes Darius and Connor are looking for a way home. Instead they find something most unexpected—their mate. The one woman who holds both their hearts in the palm of her healing hand—along with secrets about her origins that link their shared destinies.
When Josie patches up the injured man on her doorstep, her snowcat instincts tell her he’s much more than a man. And so is his brother. She also knows her dragon lovers cannot fly free on Earth. The only way to return them to their rightful place is to face the failures of her past, and leave the safety of her Oregon cabin to seek her estranged grandfather’s counsel. There she learns the painful returning Darius and Connor to where they belong could mean giving up everything. Even her only chance for true love.
But fate has other plans for the trio. Magic swirls all around them. Whether it is for good or ill, only time will tell…
Bianca D'Arc is the USA Today bestselling author of over 100 romance titles. She has been published traditionally, by a few notable small presses, and indie. Before becoming a full-time writer, she ran a laboratory, a legal department, and jetted around the country on business while working for a Fortune 500 engineering firm.
Reading about their debauchery and slutting it up wasn’t attractive. Reading about them sharing jinn wenches takes away everything special when they find their mate and share her. Ruined this book at the start.
I've had this one on the TBR for a couple of years, and finally powered through it today. It's definitely the weakest in the series.
The things I liked were still there. I loved catching up with all the characters from previous books. Draconia is still one of the fantastic realms I'd love to actually visit. The heroine was lovely, and the fact that she was from our world is catnip for me.
That said, I had issues. I trust Ms. D'arc, but I'm not fond of brothers getting it on with the same woman, even if they're careful about not touching each other. And in this particular case, the instalove slowed things down and made it hard for me to care. There wasn't much internal conflict, no reason whatever that I could see for the characters not to end up together.
My other major issue was that I was uncomfortable with the depiction of the snow cats. They were part Buddhist, part neo-Pagan, and of course they are martial artists who live in the mountains of Tibet. I'm a little unclear about what counts as cultural appropriation, but the snow cats were such walking stereotypes that I think they certainly do.
I see that the next book goes back to more fantasy world politics and no twins shagging the same girl, so I'll probably like it a lot better.
I truly love Bianca's dragon series. I love all her books. I've said it before, I really appreciate that she can write stories that don't have one chaotic, frustrating conflict after another. Her heroes and heroines meet early on and pair up. They conquer the problems they encounter throughout the book together as a team. I love the feeling of loyalty and complete adoration. This book almost felt like a long lead-up to the next story which may be the major battle building up among the lands of Draconia. It was a very good book. A feel-good read. A nice change of pace from some of the other stories we read that have us tied up in knots the entire time... Don't get me wrong, those are definitely worth reading too!! But its nice to stay in touch with these wonderful characters and see how they are all doing in each story! Enjoy!! Well done once again, Bianca!
i enjoyed this, although it does move really fast from meeting to sex!
dragons have knights. knights and dragons are bonded and share a great deal. when dragons pair for mating, they cannot join fully til their knights have found a mate too. since there are few women who can be around dragons or hear them, each pair of knights will share a single wife.
enter lots of multi partner sex.
there is an under story, but it doesnt hold up much as i've gone on to read all the others in this series.
not a bad, short story. they could have been made longer, developing the story, as opposed to all the sex!
this one is messed up a little. the dragons are transported to modern day eart and the female is not entirely human!
In this Dragon Knights novel, Dragon Storm, we get the mating of one set of royal twins. Darius and Connor travel to Earth and meet up with their mate Josie. After discovering the lack of magic on Earth and a secret foretelling from the snowcat elder, they are able to return to Draconia. While not as action-intensive, this installment in the series brings about new issues facing the dragons and people of Draconia. Their world is growing with many differ to species and cultures and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
I have really come to enjoy this series. This author's characters have a no nonsense attitude. There is no coyness in their feelings or motivations. A nice refreshing change from the typical: "I want you." "No, stay away from me." "Never mind, I really do want you." of many romances.
The stories in this series get better with each book. Take a chance and jump into the world of Dragons, Knights, and Dragon Shape-Shifters.
This is the last book I have in this series, but most certainly can't be the end. There are many questions left unanswered about the cast of characters I've come to know, but the main characters of this book get their Happy For Now ending. Overall, I was happy with the way these characters were written. They were given more depth than the previous ones in this series. Though there was still a lot of sex, it didn't overtake the plot as the main focus.
Did I mention, I wanna move to this world?????????? I liked this series so much I read it in less than 3 days(this is where I should mention that I am an extraordinarily fast reader so it may take you longer), could not put the books down once I finished one book it was on to the next...
Adults only; menage. This time two royal male black dragons get a mate. We meet some shifters (snowcats) and a Fair folk female gets a surprise. How weird that the twins let their three brothers watch. I guess this is the last in the series, since I do not see mention of a new book.
More magical species introduced, with a trip to our modern world. More allies, more possible mates, more buildup towards the coming war against those who would free the evil wizard from his icy prison.
Amazing and twisted new addition to the series. I have to admit, that the setting in our world kind of threw me at first, but I grew into it and never regretted it. The snowleopard people are really amazing and I hope we get to read more of them.
The good: its very funny. The bad: there are attempts to justify the steamy 3-ways. Why bother? The worst: in between the action (or sex) segments are tedious, linear recounts of just read events.
First of the series that I had not read the original version. Interesting the entwining of several different races/worlds/times. Can certainly tell that something big is building.
fantastic book. loving the series so far. wonderful plots interesting twists characters are outstanding and wonderfully tied together with all different species of beings.
