I'd been in the mood for more trans/cross-dressing/drag fic after reading Laney Cairo's Crossing the Lines and ran across this Torquere Sip (short story) while looking for a different story entirely. But it had cross-dressing and a threesome, so I was sold.
From the way the story opened, I was really expecting a sexy Halloween romp, but after the initial, VERY hot scene, it shifted moods rather abruptly and went for the angst. I'm not sure if it was my expectations or whether the transition itself really was that jarring, but it felt like a huge shift, and though it resolved to a loving reaffirmation between the threesome, it never regained the hotness of its initial premise.
One thing I'm not sure whether to list as a plus or minus is the characterization. There's a definite feel of this being a moment of a life in progress; the threesome is a (recently) established relationship before the story opens and on the plus side, the dynamics between the three are distinct, interesting and fleshed. On the less plus side (because it's not really a negative) is that I spent the whole time wondering if there was a preceding story that I had somehow missed that would give more explanation of who these people were and how they were in this situation. If it had been the porn without much plot I'd been expecting, I don't think I'd feel such a need to know more, but once the author started adding plot and angst, the lack of answers/details left me less satisfied than otherwise.

Very short, but very sweet and sexy story. A m/m/f dynamic with a kinky edge. Jason dresses up in drag (on Halloween) for his lovers Cooper and Lexi. Unfortunately Jason runs into his ex at the club and must work through some residual feelings he has about their breakup.
Not much else to say. When I say short, I mean short. I hope the author returns to this threesome again sometime. Their dynamic just worked for me.
As an aside, unlike the last story where I had a name clash, this one worked for me. Although I have another Jason I think of when I hear that name out of context (yes, "Anita Blake" again), this Jason was similar enough in temperment for it to work in his favor.
Love to see that other Jason (in AB) in a similar m/m/f dynamic. *mentally pushes the author* The subtext, it is there.
