I think the decision of reading a bunch of Christmas novellas really paid off this year. This one is deliciously naughty... rope play, yes, that works. And Mason? Yeah, he works for me too.
"Tell me you fucking want me, Quinn. Tell me you're finally mine and I don’t have to let you go. Not now, not ever."
Quinn and Mason know each other from before. He was just a friend to her, but he had a huge crush on her. However, he was just a scrawny kid who could never get a break as she was always dating someone else. He's not that kid anymore. He knows what he wants, he goes for it, and she's all about giving him the chance he never got.
"I’m never too busy for you, Quinn. And I meant it when I said you’re mine for Christmas."
They get reunited at a bar over the holidays, and Mason decides he's done waiting. She's the one who got away. He prepares a wonderful Christmas Eve for her at his house, he does everything for her to understand how badly he wants her. Their banter is both fun and sexy.
But he has a secret, a specific kink, and he's afraid she won't understand it, or him, and that it may scare her off.
"Looks like that smart mouth of yours might need a lesson."
"Don’t threaten me with funishments, Mason."
Guess what? She doesn't scare easily. In fact, she's pretty bold and badass, and I loved her for it. And she shares his excitement for this particular kink. And, if you haven't realized it by now, the sexy times are freaking hot.
I loved how Elyse Kelly showed us that BDSM can be fun between two consenting adults who know what they're doing and what they like.
"I’m gonna keep her tied up and thoroughly fucked for the rest of our lives."
I was expecting smut and hot-as-hell sex. I was not expecting to get some feels, but, well, I guess that was to be expected in a friends-to-lovers, second-chance story.
A wonderful, quick read that will leave you wanting more. Of Mason, at least. Can I have him? Pretty please?

I enjoyed this steamy short story, with intriguing dialogue, fiery chemistry, oh my god the melting emotional understanding and just how they clicked so well. Definitely made my January 2022.
I look forward to reading more of Elyse’s work.

Tangled In Tinsel is my first Elyse Kelly book and it definitely won't be the last. Oh boy did this book bring the Christmas steam. It wasn't just the steam that won me over, it was the endearing characters Mason and Quinn that were so gone for each other you could feel it on every page. Mason was holding a crush for Quinn for so long and she never knew. Mason was the only person that ever made Quinn feel protected and cared for. They were such a good match in every way right down to their little 'secret'. Loved every minute of this sweet little novella and can't wait to dive into more of Kelly's books.

I always look forward to Elyse's books - they are always a fun read!
This may be a super quick read, but Elyse always brings the sexiness and feelings. Tangled In Tinsel introduces us to Quinn and Mason, high school friends that reunite by chance and quickly fall into a relationship.
Due to it being a novella, things do move very quickly, but that certainly didn't stop me enjoying every minute of this cute Christmas read.
And ladies, it's 🔥🔥🔥!

I loved this fun holiday read! Elyse Kelly always brings the heat and this book does not disappoint. Since Quinn is stuck in the city for Christmas - she runs into her old friend Mason and sparks fly! THe chemistry between the two fly off the page and the rope plays adds to the fun! This a delicious quick read you wont want to put down once you pick it up. Quinn and mason get their second at love when they meet up again as they a snowed in and can' t leave the city. This book has lots of spicy and consent with rope play... this is 18+ Hoilday quick read.

When I got this ARC I knew I was in for a good story. This book is easy to pick up and finish. It will definitely put you in the Holiday Spirit. I love the connection the two MC had. Mason sounds dreamy and Quinn is the perfect girl next door. The Spicy Scenes were everything , they had details and written lengthy. You didn’t get bored. The Spicy was 100/10. The plot was 6/10. The Main characters 1000/10. Go read this book.

Tangled in Tinsel by Elyse Kelly is a quick, sexy Christmas novella. This is a friends to lovers, second chance romance. Quinn recently moved to New York for work and had plans to go home for Christmas until an unexpected amount of snow derailed her plans. When Quinn goes to grab a bite to eat she bumps into Mason, her high school best friend whom she hasn’t seen for ten years. Mason has always had feelings for Quinn and this time he doesn’t plan on letting her go.
This steamy read had an interesting twist, and I really enjoyed it. The chemistry between Quinn and Mason was off the charts and while this was a short read there was a good amount of spice. This Christmas read had some feel good vibes to get me in the holiday spirit.

This was the last holiday story I read before Christmas. I got to say I liked this sexy little number. It was hot AH and I really enjoyed learning about rope kink.
These 2 were a match made in a knotted heaven. This story was short and kinky, but also really freaking sweet. I thought Mason was swoony and dirty AF.
The Gist: Quinn gets stuck in the city for Christmas. She runs into her old friend from High School, Mason. Mason is all grown up, but the one thing that hasn't changed is his crush on Quinn. If you’re looking for a short spicy read, this is for sure it! Literally could not put this book down once I started it. A second chance love story? YES! Quinn & Mason are so cute, & the fact that Mason held a torch for Quinn for YEARS & finally gets to be with her? Be still my freaking heart. If you’re into rope play, this book def has it. 🥵 A MUST READ imo.

Our two main characters are friends from high school who haven’t seen each other in years but our mmc Mason had always had a crush on Quinn and now they’ve reconnected 2 days before Christmas with a forced proximity situation, he’s hoping he can have his chance to tell her how he feels.
Super cute boy falls first moments in this book which I am always a sucker for! The steam and also kink side was great and was dealt with in respectful, consensual, accurate ways which I love to see. The communication was strong because of this which I LOVE!
