A "brilliant" Rudolph-ish Christmas story with a catchy tune that shines on it's own! Nicholas Saint has made a magical tribute to his musician friend by bringing Sparkie to life in what may become a new Christmas tradition. This book belongs under the tree.
I'm an elementary school librarian and was gifted this book (by the author) for our school library. He was also kind enough to do a recorded read aloud that made it even more endearing. I highly recommend letting Sparkie light up your holidays as he did for my students!
Super cute Christmas Tale, beautifully illustrated
This is a sweet children's story about an elf named Sparkle who lives in the north pole and saves Christmas. I love any holiday story, and this one is sweet and the book is beautifully illustrated. Its colorful, positive and fun. Highly recommended!
My 9 year old daughter and I loved this story. My daughter loved the part where he lit the Christmas tree. I myself loved the story and the illustrations. The elves were adorable . My daughter also said it was kind of sad because the other elves were afraid of him. We both took turns reading it to one another.
Cute graphics, smaller kids will enjoy the rhyming story of how "sparkie" the elf lights up the Christmas beacon-tree for Santa. I'm not sure why Sparkie is named Sparkie BEFORE he gets hit by lightning though!
This book was wonderful. My grandson gave it a read and said that it was very cute. The art was nice. I recommend it for the little ones and the young at heart. A new Christmas favorite!
