Daddy! Daddy!
"Daddy! Daddy!" is about a day in the life of Halle, an exuberant young girl who takes her dad on a sprawling (and relentless!) adventure, showing him everything there is to see in her world. As they finally settle down for bed, her worn-out dad takes a moment to help her understand just how precious this tiresome day has really been to him.
AUTHOR'S "Daddy! Daddy!" was a phrase I heard every day (and sometimes every hour of those days!) for the first few years of my daughter Halle's life. This was almost always followed, just as exuberantly, with "Look at this!" or "Look at me!" In this book, I hoped to capture some of those moments so we could share them again and again through the years. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it.
