When I show up for my job interview and find out the guy I'm meant to be working for is the same one that I slapped the night before, I figure that I'm not getting the job.
He surprises me though and offers me a bet. He says that he knows that we're meant to be so I'll work for him for the next month and he'll use that time to prove that we're meant to be. If he can't then I leave with enough money to cover my entire year of expenses. All I have to do is resist him.

I have a secret. I’m Kentucky Derby royalty and I am absolutely terrified of horses. I have been since I was a kid and I haven't set foot in a barn since. Now that my dad's health is deteriorating though, it's time for me to face my fears.
So, I book myself a private session at a dude ranch where no one has heard of me. I figure it’s time to get back to the basics. What I don’t count on is my intense attraction for my instructor. As the month progresses, he helps me face my fears but when the thirty days are over, I find that I have a new fear.

I would do anything for my best friend so when she calls me up because her brother needs a date for a wedding, I say yes, even though I know that it’s a terrible idea since I've been in love with her brother my entire life. I would never do anything to jeopardize my friendship with Clara so I suck it up
Then the wedding gets canceled, which wouldn’t be a big deal if Kai and I hadn’t already gotten off the last ferry of the day. Now the two of us are stranded on an island just off the California coast with no cell service and no way home. Not until tomorrow morning anyway.
I haven’t given into my feelings for Kai for years. I can make it another twenty-four hours, right?
I’ve always loved Beauty and the Beast. Maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to my new boss, Remington. He has the scars left over from a bad rodeo accident and the same bear with a thorn in his paw attitude. As I clean his home and help him out around the house, my attraction for him only grows. Sure, he answers most questions in grunts or disgruntled looks, but something about that calls to me.
We both finally give into our attraction one hot summer night and then I’m headed back to Sequoia University for my last year of college. I can’t stop thinking about my scarred hero though.
Not every romance is a fairy tale but I’m determined to make what I have with Remington mine.
Now I just need to get him on the same page.

Now she's back in Sequoia and I'm not letting her get away again. I know what living without her is like and I can't do it another day.

How the men on the stud farm find the women they love
The way each of brothers fell instantly in love was very sweet. Each have different personalities the girls and their stories are different. I begin to lose interest when I find myself forwarding through long descriptions of sexual encounters. It isn't my thing and as stated I skip through back to the story.

Ich bin mega enttäuscht! Die Liebesgeschichten kommen viel zu kurz, es kommt immer sofort zur Sache und dann sind auch alle immer noch Jungfrauen 🙄 …… Wirklich schade, die Geschichten für sich hätten alle auf jeden Fall Potential gehabt!!
