About the author

A native of the Pacific Northwest, author D.J. Conway has studied the occult fields for over 35 years. Her quest for knowledge has covered every aspect of Paganism and Wicca to New Age and Eastern philosophies; plus history, the magical arts, philosophy, customs, mythologies and folklore. In 1998, she was voted Best Wiccan and New Age author by Silver Chalice, a Pagan magazine.

She lives a rather quiet life, with most of her time spent researching and writing.

This book isn't too bad, but I did find it disappointing in that I did not learn anything new. It is essentially magic with dragons. With that said, I found the meditations quite interesting and DJ Conway's updated view on dragon magic rather invigorating. The book also does not possess DJ Conway's earlier habit of dissing Christianity at every opportunity - another refreshing thing to see. I would recommend this to someone who is somewhat new to magic. As for myself, who has been a witch for over 20 years, this book was essentially stuff I had already done before.

Great dragon information

The author takes the reader through everything they will need to work with dragons throughout their lives. The author goes into great detail and shows their in-depth knowledge of this subject.
