Okay, I love Shirakawa Kouko's writing a lot. And as her other books, this book is very well-written. The story is interesting as well, but it's not as gripping as the 後宮の烏 series. This is a two-book series, and as such, the plot is moving rather quickly while we don't learn as much about the characters. And that's such a pity. All I know is that Hotaru is and incredible clutz (like she's always falling and stuff) and Hiiragi is super overprotective and a bit on the depressive side. Their interactions are cute for the most part, but I just didn't get overly invested.
