I have absolutely NO IDEA, how I found this novella 💀💀 but I'm so fucking glad that I did- because this was an ✨ experience ✨.

The whole concept of a romance based on a bad driver cutting off a rich guy with anger issues is so crazy to me. And it's the way that the banter was so unintentionally hilarious?:

"How do I know you're not a serial killer or something?"

"If I wanted you dead, I'd let you drive this car again."

It's the way the insults just kept coming omfg 😭😭😭 like he was so out of pocket and for what 💀:

I roll my eyes in irritation and make an impatient gesture with my hand. "Come on, Bailey. Do I really look like I need to rob you?

PLEASE LIKE THERE WAS NO NEED LMFAO 💀💀💀

The story got so wild towards the end, but ykw what, I 100% don't regret reading this (maybe I need help lmao 💀).

It was a meet-cute story that started when the h cut H's off on her way to her job. In her defence, she was late and she never used a car with a stick. Started off by lashing out his road rage, their story turned into every day carpooling together to work; it was more likely the H driving h around town to her job. From daily car rides turned into simple conversations. From simple conversations to holding hands. And one day, one fateful moment, the H snapped and stake his claim.

I thought it was a simple OTT instalove, but seeing how patient the H was courting h, I couldn't say that was the case. They spilt their story to each other bits by bits, so it was more like dates, just in the form of car rides. It was kinda sweet actually. The story was short, to the point but packed.

Virgin h, celibate H
No condoms
Dual PoV, 1st person
No drama/angst
No cheating
Safe read, HEA, epilogue
Overall score: 3.5 meet-cute stars

Aidan and Bailey’s Meet-Up . . .

Aidan is a tough guy, very violent, so when a woman blatantly cut him off in traffic, he followed after her to enact his vengeance for what she did. But when he got a good look at her, he forgot all about getting even and instead became obsessive, ending up stalking her.

Bailey knew that she had cut him off through her reckless driving of the old stickshift convertible her uncle had left her, and she recognized his resulting road rage behavior in response to her “assault”. When he takes things further and ends up stalking her, what will happen when he makes his move? Because she obviously needs protection – especially from herself as she almost runs another car or three off the road! She really is a horrible driver. But at least now he knows she hadn’t been aiming for him specifically. Regardless, he now feels duty-bound to keep her from being a road hazard to all drivers everywhere. Does he have a plan to stop her? And what will he do to make sure he can keep her forever?

The narrator for the audiobook version is Mackenzie Berry. She does a great job with the voices and inflection to make it easy for the listener to get an accurate idea of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood and is a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

Giving someone a second chance may lead to love.

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it was over the top with the road rage. The characters were interesting and likable. Bailey was a danger to herself and others which she states pretty much immediately. She was a terrible driver and probably almost killed a lot of people. Aidan was one of the drivers that was cut off and that could have died. His reaction was extreme but he decided to not act without getting some additional information. When Bailey and Aidan met, she was positive that she knew why. There was some drama and angst as well as some stalking but it worked out well. I did have to yell a couple of times at things that Bailey did, but not too many. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Listening to the audiobook was pleasant as well. The narrator did a great job of trying to change her voice when she was being Aidan as opposed to when she was Bailey. She really brought the story to life. I recommend listening to this audiobook.

Speed Demon ~

I enjoyed reading this story. The horrible driving had me laughing! A convertible stick shift, what a sweet ride. Through her crappy reckless driving, she caught the attention of a man who would do anything for her. Sweet little innocent girl doesn’t quite understand, until he tells her. Good thing they’re on the same page. From there it gets good and he claims her forever.

If you like the old fashioned Harlequin books inherited from your mother, you will like this. I feel that this little insta-love reads should be sweet, easy and without overly exorbitant drama, so far this writer's style meets my reading requirements without getting me all frazzled and pissed of with some jackalope imaginary H and doormat h.
I give this a 8 star or a 10 on my own personal grading scale.

No one said I was a good driver

Loved it! After she cuts him off in traffic he takes over caring for her. Bailey and Aidan are a good couple. They have lots of chemistry. No cheating, no ow/om drama, HEA. All around a great story!

Awesome!

This was such a fun read! I really enjoyed Aidan & Bailey’s quick romance brought to us by just a little road rage in the beginning. There was such an instant attraction between the two and I loved every part of this story. Emma Bray binge reading session coming at you.😂😍

The mobster and the bad driver

This story is so cute. Hes not even sure how he feels about her until almost half way through. I love when the heros smart but dense in some ways. Plus he's the growly alpha we all come the expect with Emma's books!

Bailey (h18) is racing to work and cuts off Aidan (H28) in traffic with her bad driving. He instantly falls for her and starts inserting himself in her life, from driving her everywhere to threatening those who’d otherwise make her unhappy. Hot and steamy age gap quickie with a little bit of drama.

4 stars…
Super quick but I liked that she wasn’t upset by his possessiveness even if she was obviously a complete idiot.

2/5 on spice. 1/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears.

The first time Aidan sees Bailey is when he’s driving and she cuts him up , he’s that mad he follows her to work. He sits outside her work until her shift ends then he takes her keys off her and forbids her to drive.

AIDAN and BAILEY

What happens when you cut a crime boss on the road?... Well…he comes after you of course!
He realizes that you don't know how to drive and is now worried for you, and that annoys him! It's love (protective instinct) at first irritation of anger or road rage. *thinking*

"Again, why do you care? I'm nothing to you."
His jaw hardens—at what I said?

"You were a distraction. One I didn't need. Nevertheless, one I couldn't let go of."

He is doing everything he can without letting her know that he is taking care of her.
He has fallen for her and now it’s up to him to protect her from his world

"You'll never truly understand the depth of my feelings for you. I'd do anything to make sure you're safe."
