Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.

More of a comment than complete review. I am already a huge fan of Evangeline Anderson's male-male romances. This naughty nooner was hot and fun to read. At only 26 pages it reads very fast and you get to the goods quickly. I would label this futuristic or sci-fi erotica. The romance was there but the sex was more of the story. I loved it! I want to read more m/f stories by Ms. Anderson now.

The idea behind being a Sin-Eater, and being genetically and slightly physically different than others, is an intriguing one that could have been expressed so much better under different circumstances. I just wasn't drawn in very far here; the couple didn't hold my interest and a great deal of things made no sense. Especially how almost distraught Teacher gets when he addresses the fact that this is the last time they will be together. In reading the end - which was insanely obvious, btw - it just had me shaking my head and thinking, wth?

Very short (only about 26 pages), but hot! I'm not surprised I liked this because everything I've read by Evangeline Anderson I've liked.

But anyways, Lena is the one and only Sin Eater in training to serve the god-king Karn the Insatiable. Since she's a virgin, her Teacher has to spend a year with her to prepare her for Karn in all ways sexual. However, she cannot have actual sex with anyone but Karn. But after a year of being taught by Teacher, she's fallen in love with him so she doesn't know what to do about it.

Like I said, short and quick, but very hot. Even with a bit of a surprise twist for the ending! :)

Free Kindle download. I usually really like Evangeline Anderson's work, especially her longer works, but this being a short story there wasn't enough plot or characterization for me, so I felt a little cheated on story -- makes the sex scenes feel like a one-night stand.

Usually I don't like short stories because they lack of character development, but I have to admit that I enjoyed this one.
Despite the few pages you can find a good plot, romance, suspence and last but not least some very hot sex :)
