Sage has the ability to read minds, but only in high passion moments when thoughts transmit at a higher frequency. But the gift is double-edged. Sage is inordinately handsome. Some might even say he’s a walking orgasm. So what’s a half-breed to do when every person he meets seems intent on seducing him, and how will he know if the man he chooses will love him for more than his looks?

Joe has never been the object of anyone’s lust before. Now Sage, the hottest guy he’s ever laid eyes on, has Joe starring in his sexual fantasies. It would be perfect if only Sage could shut up for one minute, and quit talking about his own hotness—or about how he can read minds.

Meanwhile, Joe and Sage must secure the last three Zodiac Stones and prevent their theft while they wait for exhibition. Can they put their sexual tension aside long enough to stop a clever thief? And even if they do, will Joe’s heart be a casualty of their inevitable fling, or could Sage really be looking for more than a one-night stand?

How would you feel, what would you do if you tapping into one's sexual fantasies were out of your control? A curse or a blessing? But then you meet the one man that you can't read into, can't see his thoughts and don't have a damn clue what he's thinking and can only rely on body language and facial expressions alone. But the one dowfall or perhaps not, you cannot lie. Interesting huh?

Sage the half fae and Joe the mortal man take you into a series of verbal bantering, self control, humor and their strange conquest to overcome certain denials, although one sided on the deny, deny, deny. But not for long.

This story delves into that in mystical proportions with amusement, laughs and wonder. I laughed and found this story to be a brilliant write by Mia.

Two thumbs up on this one for me.

This one was just o.k. I felt confused much of the time and there just was not enough backstory of any sort to make that go away. I didn't understand faery or how it interacted in the human realm. The mystery was fine - that was the best part actually. The guys had chemistry and the sex was hot but it was set inside of a structure that lacked enough words to explain how this world really worked. Neither character was particularly charismatic or engaging - so just o.k. to me.

Sage is a security expert who happens to be half fae. His magical ability, or curse as he sees it, is to read people when he's close to them. Unfortunately, he's absolutely gorgeous and sexy so people are always thinking dirty nasty thoughts around him. It's drives him crazy until he meets banker Joe. He falls for Joe super quick but can't read the other man at all. Misconceptions get in the way but are easily worked through and soon sage and Joe are getting hot and heavy. Then the complication of a priceless artifact and a jealous, spiteful woman gets thingsreally interesting for the two protags. This was a nicely written story, I liked the protags, the storyline was interesting and although there's quite a bit of sex for the length of the book it still was overall an entertaining read.

This seemed to happed really fast, especially for a non-mate type love story. Going from I hate your guts to I am totally in love with you in less than a week. That being said, OMG it was steamy and I thoroughly enjoyed it once I suspended my disbelief a wee bit. 3.5 stars.

I didn't have really high hopes for this one but I must confess that I really, really liked it alot. It was almost love for me. Almost. Great writing that made me "feel" their pain and insecurities. So good. Nice story, not too woowoo magicky.

The first three quarters were really cool. I was okay with not understanding all the technical mumbo jumbo. But then there was not only too much sex but I did not get what the hell happened. And it wasreally confusing.

Half-breed faery Sage Harper has a fairly (or faerily) imperfect gift. He can see inside a person’s mind, but only during moments of elevated tension. And to top it off, the faeries gifted (or cursed) him with looks most people cannot resist. Nearly every person Sage comes across desires him, which is why Joe Glassman comes as a surprise. The ordinary-looking mortal seems not to want Sage in the slightest…which would be a blessing if Sage didn’t lust after him. To add to his problems, Sage can’t seem to stop blurting out his thoughts when he’s near Joe, which makes working with the man even more difficult.

Joe isn’t used to someone so handsome pursuing him and he’s not sure Sage is on-the-level. The guy seems a bit off, claiming he can read minds, and added to that Sage is extremely narcissistic, always talking about his own good looks. Still, there’s something about Sage that draws Joe to him. As the two work together to secure the only Zodiac Stones that haven’t yet been stolen, sexual tension escalates to unbearable levels. Giving into their desires seems inevitable, but Sage is going to have to put in some serious overtime to win Joe’s closely-guarded heart.

Mind F*cked is a seriously fun fractured fairytale unlike anything I’ve read before. Mia Watts puts a fresh spin on faery gifts and curses with the Harper siblings. Sage is a delightful character and I admit I both laughed and felt bad for him in regards to his dilemma. He’s stunningly gorgeous, no doubt about it. Yet he’s not vain, though his inability to keep his thoughts to himself around Joe combined with his confusion at the other man’s rejection of him makes Sage come across as such. Sage’s “average Joe” hero is a fitting match for him, in that he’s ordinary, intelligent, and calm; perfect for a half-breed faery with odd gifts. The sexual tension ratchets up at lightning speed in Mind F*cked, making the book all the more compelling. Because I adored the heroes I wanted them to not only give into their lust for one another, but find love with each other as well. Ms. Watts balanced desire and tenderness perfectly and I finished Mind F*cked a well-satisfied reader.

Mind F*cked is the first story in the Faerily Imperfect series and I cannot wait to read about Sage’s brother and sisters. Ms. Watts has started off what is sure to be an enchanting series with a bang and I am on the edge of my seat, waiting to read what happens next.

Sage is an half-faery that can read minds. It's his own curse. He hates in particularly how some of the visions is sees are about him. Naked. The guy jacking off in the men's bathroom while thinking about him isn't unusual (unfortunately). However, the hottie with sparkling green eyes that he can't read and seems to hate the hell out of him. Now that's new. :)

I stumbled upon this book while looking for another... and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised.

Sage is half-Fae, and he's cursed with sexual attraction and the ability to read minds. Every human he encounters daydreams about him, and Sage can see/read those daydreams. He's so used to being the object of sexual fantasy and to read minds, that he's shocked when he can't read Joe's mind.

Joe is a bank manager. His bank is about to house the Zodiak Stones, and so he's hired a security firm to beef up the security, since the previous banks were robbed of some of the stones. It's Joe's job on the line if the bank is robbed.

Sage isn't usually the guy who interfaces directly with the client. And Sage doesn't seem to have a sexual preference, but he's drawn to Joe - probably because he can't read Joe's mind. But Joe is certainly not unaffected by Sage, he just tries not to let on HOW affected he is.

Sage always seems to say the most inappropriate things - kind of like he doesn't have a filter. But especially because he can't understand Joe not wanting him, or so he thinks. Sage does his best to seduce Joe, while Joe is trying his best to avoid seduction.

Can the two of them work together and get the security installed in time for the Zodiak Stones to arrive and be secure? Who's interfering with Sage's security job - the thief? Is there an inside-job going on here?
-----------

It's a cute, whimsical story, albeit a bit short. And while it's not exactly predictable, it's not entirely unpredictable, either. Many of the same "rules" apply to the Fae in this book as in many others, which is kind of nice; makes the reader feel as if he/she actually has some handle on the paranormal/Fae/fantasy part of the story.

I'll investigate the other books in this series, which feature Sage's siblings, each with his or her own unique gift.

Gorgeous cover, huh? That's what I thought! Too bad it's only available as an eBook...

Well, maybe not, because it wasn't that good. In fact, I didn't even finish it I got so bored with Mind Fcked. Mia Watts' cover is better than the story itself.

First things first, this is a male/male erotica. I don't have a big issue with that, though I know most would not be comfortable, or just wouldn't to, read male on male erotica. One of the staring men is a half faerie that can read (and feel) other people's minds, most of the time it being their sexual fantasies. His name is Sage, and, of course, he is drop dead gorgeous and loves sex above most things (I mean this is an erotica). Our other main man is Joe, an average, yet completly built, looking corporate banker. Joe has wicked green eyes that draws Sage in, but the main thing that hooks Sage is Joe doesn't want to do the dirty deed with him. Everyone else does, so why doesn't Joe? Well, Sage's ego is a big turn off for Mr. Banker, but Sage soon learns that that's a bunch a bull, that Joe wants him, he just doesn't want to admit it.

Mind Fcked has 11 chapters, it is a fairly short ebook, but I could only get myself to read the first 6 chapters. I found the begining of the novela incredibly funny, but shortly lost interest in the story. The heavy flirtation was, as I mentioned, very funny and purely entertaining, but it seemed to come to an abrupt halt and turned all buisness as the two men started working side by side in bank security. All in all, I would say, save your money and go buy something more worth your time.

I bought this book because I adored the excerpt and the premise. Sage is a half-faery living under a curse: he is irresistibly beautiful, and cannot avoid seeing peoples' thoughts when they're in heightened emotional states--states which usually involve lust for Sage being projected into his head in full-on pornographic glory. Then, at a security job, Sage meets Joe, an attractive man and whose mind he can't read, and who doesn't even seem to like Sage. To make matters worse, Sage finds himself magically compelled to confess his innermost thoughts to Joe--no matter how embarrassing those thoughts are. Mix in a week together working closely with Joe on his bank's security, a slew of sexy situations, misunderstandings arising from trying to protect their hearts, and a bit of faery magic, and you've got Mind F*cked.

I wish I'd bought this book sooner; it's been on my ebook wish list for a long time, but I feared the writing wouldn't stand up to the premise. I shouldn't have worried. This book is delightful, the details were amazing and sensual, and the main characters were likable and also heart-wrenching in their decisions--first to protect their hearts, then to love freely even when they assumed the other would leave them at the end of their week on the job together. Watts is definitely a writer I'll read more from.

Sage is half-fae. As a result he has a gift that is more of a curse. When he's near someone who's experiencing high emotions he can read their minds. Given that he's a quite handsome specimen who's attractive to both sexes, that means he gets a lot of people having sex dreams about him. It was fun when he was a teenager, not so much anymore.

Very cool concept. I really would have liked to see it played out more. Instead the whole story is restricted to the confines of a bank where Sage is helping to upgrade the security system.

In an echo's of Sookie Stackhouse's fascination for vampires (becasue they are "blanks" to her mind reading gift), Sage can't read the bank manager Joe. And that makes Joe very attractive.

I think I would have preferred a longer build up in their relationship and a few dates outside the bank or something. It seemed a bit claustrophobic to me. It was also a little heavy on the sex, most of it before they had anything other than a mutual attraction. I just prefer sex in the context of a relationship. Mutual physical attraction isn't enough.

So, great concept, less than perfect execution.

This was another fabulous paranormal romance for me, this time of the M/M kind. It’s about a very attractive half-breed faery who has the ability to read other people’s minds. Due to that fact he became quite cocky because everybody is lusting after him thanks to his looks. When he meets (his average) Joe he can’t read his mind which is unusual and makes him very insecure. During the security job they are involved in together he starts falling in love for the first time in his life but Joe is skeptical about his feelings and his feary background. It was foremost a very funny book! And the characters were wonderful and very right for each other (even the magic approved of it). The security mystery was a nice addition to this pretty original love story although that particular part was a bit predictable and lacked real suspense. It’s the first book in a series, the next books feature Sage’s siblings and I’m really looking forward to their stories! Even for the humor alone I would want to read them!

Very cute story, an different approach to faery world. Sage meet Joe and he know that him is the perfect mate because his ability to read minds don't works for him and naturally for his extraordinary green eyes. Obliged to work together the lust and love will convince Joe to trust Sage with his heart , in fact him is been very persuasive: how to resist to one hottest guy he’s ever laid eyes on. I think that Ms Watts is a fantastic writer and still she have given we one vibrant, romantic, exciting story.

Oooh so loved Sage and Joe.
Frustration abounds so much in this love story - Sages' because he can't "read" Joe's mind and thus know what he's thinking/imagining; and Joes' because he is so sure Sage is just an arrogant flirt who he can't be bothered with !

The way the attraction overpowers them both is wonderful - and I definitely will be reading the other books in this series.

Well done, Mia !

Mind F*cked by Mia Watts – This is from the Faerily imperfect series. I enjoyed the book. It is about a human and a half breed fairy that fall in love. The fairy can read peoples fantasies. It is not a very long read. I read it in one evening. The series does not continue with these two characters. It does continue with the fairy theme.

Wondering how Sage lasted as long as he did with all that mojo being transmitted to him. LOL. I meann how much lust can one person stand? Joe resisted as long as he could. The only thing that threw me was the fact that Joe accepted Sage's faery status so quickly.

While it was humorous that Joe thinks Sage is a egotistical player full of himself, I found it.. bouncy and confusing at times. The end where they are 'saving the day' I just couldn't follow.. didn't make any sense. The rest of this series is getting canned since I don't think I can get into it.

A bit silly in the paranormal aspect. Story-wise it was fine but maybe progressed a bit too quickly. I think I'll be giving the next book in the series a try, the blurb at the end was quite interesting.
