The Red Badge of Courage is a book I would recommend it to people who are looking to find a better version of themselves and overcome the past by doing something better for yourself and for others. At the beginning of the story, the protagonist of this story, Henry Fleming, is afraid of dying in the war and decides to escape. and leaving his companions alone showing an act of cowardice, Henry feels very bad for what he did and regrets it and decides to go to the column of wounded soldiers that is down the road. There Henry finds brave soldiers with very serious injuries, but all of them are proud of everything they have done and fought for, and it is at this precise moment that Henry Flemings realizes that a wound is like a red badge of courage. I liked this book because it made me realize that when you are afraid to do something, it is just that precise moment in which you have to do it and be brave.
