Keeps you guessing, which kept me reading

All Gone is reminiscent of Left Behind at the beginning. Crop circles are popping up all over, with the same pattern. This leads folks to believe the second coming is upon the world. Or maybe…could it be…aliens? Everything points to a particular date that something big will happen. And it does—people disappear into thin air, all at the same time. Those who are left are stunned and frightened. The book centers on a small group who make their way from the east coast to Colorado. I loved that Ms. White made everything seem realistic. They had to fight to keep their vehicle, find food, and stay safe on a long trek where cars litter the highways, both trying to get somewhere else and also where drivers were among those who disappeared. Once they get to Colorado things don’t get any easier. As supplies start to be picked over and diminish, survival is more and more tenuous. Will our group find the answer to the crop circles and the reason so many disappeared? Were they assumed into heaven—AKA rapture—or were they abducted by an invading species?

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing and as I said, the characters were realistic. I have to admit, though, if were suddenly without a microwave or electricity, I would have no idea how to plant and harvest a big garden or shoot and dress a deer. I was impressed how much Ms. White must know about all of this because she had her characters doing it all. If you like sci-fi, you should read this book. It has romantic elements, but if you’re looking for strong romance, this might not be for you. Great job, Ms. White! Recommended!

Charge

What would you do in the aftermath of a catastrophic event? Would you comply, or would you fight? If you do fight, are you risking everything, or is this only the case if you comply. All Gone is an epic journey focusing on a group of individuals brought together after the event who all face deciding this exact question. S.K. White takes you on a thrilling race to figure everything out before the decision is taken out of our hands. Sprinkle in some romance, some laughs, one hell of a sexy musician, and a “Charge” (which I can only hope I get if this ever happens) to build the foundation for this incredible story. Highly recommend

The perfect mix of sci-fi and romance

All Gone by S.K. White has it all for sci-fi and romance fans: the mystery plot, aliens, and a progressive love story blended with lots of action. Great plot, strong characters, and a chilling view of “what could be” in the future.

I loved the book; it should be a movie.
