Stranded
Samantha Martin and her dad lived a normal life. As normal as life could be when you live most of your life on a yacht. On her sixteenth birthday, Samantha's life is turned around when she is shipwrecked on an island. Her home for the last ten years is in pieces on the shore, she's hurt, and her father is nowhere to be found. She happens to run into a boy who shows her how much this island has to offer. Although there is no way off of the island that they know of, they go on many adventures together, just to figure out that everything they thought they knew about the island isn't true. I enjoyed this book very much. It reminded me of similar books I read when I was younger. This book would be great for teens- it is entertaining and a quick read. There is an innocence to it that is refreshing.
