This time they need to find answers before the whole shelter is in danger and do it while dodging questions from Ezzie’s boyfriend who happens to be a cop, and Vivi’s boss who happens to be the Sr. Pastor where she works and the man she is trying very hard not to fall for.

As if that’s not enough to keep them busy, Vivi and Ezzie decide to follow up on a lead that targets a pair of reprehensible accountants whom they believe stole millions from Vivi’s father, and set him up to take the fall. The sooner they can prove Vivi’s dad is innocent the sooner Vivi can go back to being filthy rich like a normal person.

Can Vivi figure out the mystery without losing her heart and her job in the process?

Enjoyable mystery. I love the variety of characters. You don't have to read the first 2 books in the series before this one. But it helps, as the character relationships continue to develop in each book.
