Dear Santa, It’s been a long time since I had a boy. I know I swore that I wouldn’t look for one until I could give him all my time, love, and energy. Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t be looking for that perfect sweet boy to take care of. My life is a mess. My business is doing better than ever (and I did say I would find my boy when it was), but I lost my best friend. Now I’m the guardian to my goddaughter. Is it fair to even think about finding my very own boy to cuddle with, someone to take care of when I’m failing spectacularly at being a dad? I know I can be a wonderful Daddy. And I think I can be a pretty good dad. So if it’s not too much to ask, I would like a boy to love and adore that will also cherish my daughter. I guess what I really want is a family. That’s not too much to ask, right? His Boy to Heal is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two multi-author series. From this installment, you can expect a super sweet boy who just needs a daddy to remind him how amazing he is and a sexy older Daddy with a huge heart, just waiting for the perfect boy to heal. Each book can be read as a standalone, but so many Daddies are looking for some holiday magic to bring them their perfect boys. Why not grab them all?

Oh how I love it, when they refer to parenting their kid as "babysitting"

Story: 3.5 Stars

Gage is busy running a business and raising his two-year-old niece, and longs for a Daddy/boy relationship. Ari is still finding his footing after being left by his Daddy less than a year ago, and accepts Gage's job offer as a live-in nanny. Both feel an immediate attraction they won't act upon, not knowing they're also corresponding with each other via the Cuffd dating app.

Gage's niece Laney is a handful and, understandably, a big focus of this story but I never got the sense that Gage fully embraced the responsibility of raising her. That could stem from how he just dumped her on Ari moments after meeting him, but all told, Gage isn't an engaged parent/guardian.

I also didn't really feel a romantic spark between the two men, and their rich backstories set up what could've been a much deeper, emotionally connecting story. To that end, Gage telling Ari off-page about becoming Laney's guardian was another missed opportunity for some feels.

I've read and enjoyed most of the multi-author Naughty or Nice Season Two books (and the first series), and while this one was quite sweet at times, it didn't mesh for me. Among other things, I felt shortchanged not having Gage's "Dear Santa" letter presented on-page...the letters - typically insightful and heartfelt - are the crux of this series, but Gage's is referenced as an afterthought here.

Early on, it also felt like I should've already known who the secondary characters were, namely Gage's friend Kendrick and Ari's friend Dillon. I couldn't help but wonder if they're MCs in another of the author's books. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. (Also read in KU.)

interesting enough

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2022...

***spoilers little here and there***

It was interesting enough. Even with few errors throughout the book. Where I had a hard time understanding, but sorta figured it out.

One thing I can say that Gage and Ari loved Laney and cared about her. It taken the right person for Ari to be calm around and wanted to be around. She knew that Ari would and could handle her tantrums.

Also Gage needed Ari in his life and Laney I was glad he gotten that and vise versa. With Ari it’s cute that Ari wanted to be a teacher. He more likely going for the younger children like the preschoolers (prek) he dodge a bullet when it came to the guy Dax. That’s for sure. He finally got the love that he deserved.

I received a copy of this book from Neon Rainbow ARC Reviews, and this is my honest review.
Nice, sweet and hot. A wonderful toddler, her perfect nanny and a CyberDaddy.
This story got me hooked from the beginning and I read it in one go.
If you're in the mood for something not too-Christmassy, that's the story you're looking for.
Absolutely recommended!

His Boy to Heal is the tenth book in the Naughty or Nice series season 2. His Boy to Heal is written by Rheland Richmond. This book is about Ari, Gage and an almost 2 year old named Laney. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written

His Boy to Heal by Rheland Richmond is part of the Naughty or Nice Season 2 series. It is the story of Gage and Ari. Gage owns his own tech security company which keeps him busy enough but then his brother died and he became the guardian of his 18 month old niece. She is going through so much upheaval that she can’t settle down and throws multiple tantrums a day. Because of this he can’t keep a nanny and is at his wit’s end. His friend suggests that he use the Cuff’d app to see if he can find a Boy to help with his problems. Ari has lived with his boyfriend for 2 years and thought everything was going well when he suddenly left him with 2 months left on their apartment lease and no job. Luckily he has good friends who let him stay with them while he finishes up getting his associate degree in early childhood development. He is shy and thinks there is something wrong with him because his boyfriend left him. He applies for the job as nanny to Gage’s niece and gets it after a hands-on interview. Both men feel something for each other but don’t act on it because they are employer/employee. Time goes on and both of them are lonely and find each other attractive. Gage has gone on Cuff’d and has lots of replies. One of them intrigues him so they start corresponding. Unbeknownst to him it is Ari. Then something happens when he realizes who it is and abruptly cuts him off. This makes Ari question himself even more. When it all finally comes out there is a big blowup and it takes quite a while for them to figure out what to do and if they want to be together. I enjoyed this book. It is a Daddy/Boy story but not in the usual sense as it seemed to have more BDSM elements than playtime. The characters were interesting and Laney was adorable once she settled down. I liked how she was part of the glue that held Gage and Ari together. There friends were helpful and gave good advice when they were having problems. There was also some angst along the way as they figured out now to react to each other and what happened, which in turn led them to fall in love. I recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Could have been good

Thus one definitely fell flat for me. It seemed like alot of stuff was missing. Like Gage signed up for Cuff'd but where was his Santa letter? It said he wrote it but it was just said in passing. And there was no mention of Ari writing one.
Time seemed to be way off as well, like they'd wake up and then head to the amusement park and Gage is all "let me take care if you this evening", same when Gage was putting his xmas surprise together, breakfast, he went out, got home and it was dark.
Plus one scene, Gage came home with a bruise...um did the author remove the part of how he got it? And they didn't even talk about it! Why mention it at all?!?!?
I also felt no connection whatsoever b/w the 2 MC's, not as Gage/Ari or Subby4u/Cyberdaddy. And I thought this was suppose to be Daddy/boy. I didn't get that at all out of their relationship besides Ari calling Gage Daddy in the bedroom.
And it seemed pretty obvious this author doesn't have kids, Laney did not act like any 2yr old I know. It also made no sense she called Gage dada when he rarely spends time with her.
There was quite a few other things that didn't work for me but I don't want to totally bash the book. Let's just say it had the potential to be so much better then what it was.

There were some major things that bothered me about this story. I really felt for Ari when his Ex ghosted him, was him forcing out of their apartment with no job. I was intrigued by Gage being in the Cyber security business. When he hired Ari to be a Nanny to his niece, it seemed like the perfect match for Ari. Until he went on the Cuffed App and met Cyber Daddy, who unbeknown to Ari, was Gage. The way this was eventually handled really bothered me. I felt it didn't fit in with someone being the cyber security business, especially with Ari's history with his Ex. I loved little Laney and how Ari helped her with the death of her father. Even though I didn't care for way certain things were handled, the main storyline was good.

In Seattle we have a businessman with a High Tech Security company, Gage, (cover) who's brother died and Gage becomes the guardian for Laney, 2 yrs. old, plus the Mother isn't in the picture. He strikes out with his nanny's because the little girl is hard to handle with her upheaval in life, until Ari applied for the job.
Ari has the magic touch with the cute little toddler.

Ari is lithe, brown haired, cooks, and has a degree in Child Development. He lost his parents and was also raised by he grandmother who recently passed away, plus he's been dumped by his boyfriend.
Gage , 41, a Dom, blonde/grey hair runs his own

Cyber Security business, has lost his parents and brother, plus the grandmother who finished raising the brothers. and if not for Laney, he'd be all alone in the world.

Neither man knows the other belongs to Cuff'd's website, and are talking online, while Ari is working for Gage and living in as the Manny. Ari excels with Laney and it's always nice to come home to a clean, quiet house and a home cooked meal, plus the good company. Their friends play a light role.

We do see that the two men and Laney are all lonely, missing their loved ones, and are in need of some stability and care.

When Gage figures out what is going on with the Cuff'd chats, he handles it badly, but they hope to work it out. It is a nice connection for them, hot sexy times, and companionship prevails.
This novella manages to get in the important issues and help these tow find happiness.
Enjoy !

Such a great book. I loved it. Sweet and steamy. Very entertaining. Ari came home one day to find that his Daddy had left him. Left him with no place to live, no job and no explanation of why he left. Gage just lost his brother who listed Gage as his daughter's guardian. His niece cries a lot and throw temper tantrums which has made it impossible to keep a nanny. He needs a nanny that will stay for longer than a month. Ari interviews for the nanny position. Gage agrees to hire him if he can the day with his niece. The two men find themselves attracted to each other. Gage hasn't had of boy of his own for a long time. All he wants is a family of his own. Both men sign up for the Cuff'd app and soon they are chatting each other up, not knowing who the other man is. One night on a video chat, Gage recognizes that the other man is Ari. He shuts off communication completely. He can't lose his nanny who his niece has become fond of. Ari is hurt by the rejection. He has no idea it is Gage. Can they get past all the issues and become more? I highly recommend.

Gage runs a successful cyber security business but following the tragic death of his brother, he is now the guardian to his two-year-old niece called Laney. She is feeling the loss of her father and the disruption to her life and his attempts to get her a nanny have all failed until he hires Ari who is perfect for Laney (and Gage). Ari has just come out of a relationship and is shy of men and definitely of being abandoned. Gage did a profile on Cuffd with a letter to Santa and Ari has a profile there too. Can Gage and Ari find love as much as they both love Laney to have the kind of HEA they all deserve?

I liked this story with Laney at the centre as they both focused on what was right for her as well as what was right for them both too. I loved that they had a disagreement but were able to discuss it and sort out their differences. The Christmas present for Gage from Ari was inspired. Easy to read, feel and understand. This story contains mature content with an MM BSDM-like DDLB/Ds relationship.

I tell you what. Gage needed a good punch to the face or the gut to get his head out of where it was stuck. This book is a good one. Ari and Gage do not have an insta-love happily ever after. They have to work for it because Gage almost screws it up beyond repair with some thoughtless words and actions. But hang in there because these two really are perfect for each other. Little Laney steals every scene she is in and is such an adorable toddler who has just been through way too much in her short life. And Ari has been made to feel worthless and like he can never be enough. He has a hard time getting past his ex’s behavior which is very understandable because stuff like that takes its toll on you. These characters were very good, but I confess I love Ari more than Gage. But that is probably because Gage had to get over himself first and realize how his behavior affected Ari. I enjoyed this book quite a lot, flawed people and all.

*3.5*
His Boy To Heal was a little bit hit and miss for me. Whilst I felt for Ari and definitely sensed the heat between them, I didn't really get much of a connection between them. There is a huge bond that grows between Ari and Laney, Gage's niece who Ari is hired to be a live in nanny for. She's so adorable and my heart went out to her for what she's experiencing with Ari being a wonderful balm for her pain. Gage and Ari's bond takes a lot more work to build and it hits some bumps on the way, namely one in the shape of Gage. The Cuff'd app causes some of their strife but they're both sweet and sincere, you can see how easy it could be to fall for either man. Their reconciliation felt a little rushed, though didn't stop it from being equally sweet and hot.
Both men have great friends who help and support in their times of need.
I enjoyed the story overall and like the characters but the relationship aspect didn't really work for me.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

A sweet addition to the series

I really enjoy this series, as well as the first season and this book is a lovely addition!

Ari is trying to move on with his life after his former boyfriend left him unexpectedly. Gage is just trying to adjust to life as a single father after his brother's death left him as guardian of his niece. Ari applies as the new nanny and forms an immediate connection with little Laney.

This is a Daddy/boy dynamic, but it's not dwelt on very much at all. There is no age play and very little Daddy/bit play. There is plenty of sweetness with Laney and Gage, as well as some found family. It has a wonderful HEA!

Love Ari and Gage's story.
When Gage is left with his neice he has to hire a nanny as he does not know what to do with a toddler. After numerous nanny's left Ari came for the job. This was Ari's first job after getting his qualifications, he was a stay at hom sub until his ex left him without a word.
Ari and Gage's relationship is professional , both men feel an attraction but don't act upon it.
They both join the Cuffs app and find someone they can talk to , and build up a relationship until everything goes wrong.
Brilliant story couldn't put it down

His Boy to Heal is part of the multi-author series Naughty or Nice Season Two. I was excited to read this book as I have really enjoyed some of the other books in the series. But this book missed the mark. I was expecting to see Gage's Dear Santa letter but didn't. I feel like the whole premise of the book got lost. This book does have wonderful characters and maybe would've been better as part of a different series, and maybe longer. The story felt a bit rushed. I got a little confused at times and felt like I had to fill in the blanks. I liked the idea of this story, but I think the execution could've been better.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Ari is in need of fresh start after going through an abrupt change in relationship status.
Gage has also had drastic changes to his life, becoming the guardian to his grieving niece, he is need of a nanny as well as a boy of his own.
When he meets Ari, he his intrigued on many levels, but the care of his niece comes first.
When an app is suggested by a friend, Gage finds a new way to connect with a boy and form a sweet connection.

This was a fantastic plot idea no doubt but the story was a bit disjointed and rushed at times. The characters were well suited but I would have liked to see them connect more as a couple. I did miss the cuff’d letter in this story. Overall, an enjoyable read with a cute HEA.

Loved Ari and Gage!! This is part of season 2 in the Naughty or Nice series. Ari is a boy and was studying to become a teacher. Gage owns a cyber security business and needs a nanny for his niece. Ari applies and Gages hires him on the spot, unaware that they are chatting on the Cuff’d app. Overall, a great read! The story was really well written, the pacing was smooth, highly recommend. I am voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

The only let down of this book in the Naughty or Nice series was that I didn't get to read the Dear Santa letter. Rheland Richmond did however, show us in chapter one that Ari definitely fell into the nice category.
Ari became the nanny for Gage to care for Laney and soon began to love her. Because Ari had been left without warning in a previous relationship, he was wary of certain reactions to situations or treatment.
I enjoyed the low angst and the fluidity of the story.

I like stories where the dad falls for the manny and this story was just what I needed. I loved how Ari
bonded with Laney and helped with her tantrums. I admitted that I was annoyed with Gage even though it was understandable how stressed he was with the unexpected custody of his niece after his brother's death. He did get better but I agree that editing left out how he got the bruise and yes we can guess why he got it but not explaining was weird and the whole Santa letter thing was barely there so this was not as tight as it should have been.

Some books are loosely based around a theme, and this one is probably one of the loosest I've seen in the Naughty or Nice series... the tie-ins to the series felt forced and almost like an afterthought.... in a way, the whole book felt a little rushed and there were some gaps and leaps.

That being said, I absolutely adored the characters! They were sweet, needy and I just wanted to hug them... I just wish we'd gotten to see more of them and their dynamic...

pros and cons

I’m on the fence with this book. On the plus side, the book is well written with limited grammatical issues and I really liked Ari. He’s a sweetheart and definitely did not deserve the way he was treated by Dax or Gage. However, I wasn’t very fond of Gage. He came across as shallow and rather thoughtless. I was also confused by Laney as her age and maturity level seemed to shift to meet the needs of the scene.

Being a professional nanny of 35 years I was at first caught off guard by what happens in the beginning! Then I was understanding and moved past it. Human beings have flaws and make mistakes- so to do characters in books!

I very much enjoyed Ari and Gages story! Laney was adorable and heartbreaking! Their story was sweet, gut wrenching, heartwarming and steamy but a slow burn to begin with!

I love when everything happens organically!

Great read!

The amazing story of Gage and Ari trapped me from the beginning until the very last page. Ari's story broke my heart but it was a delight to witness how Gage and Laney helped him to recover his happiness again. A book full of family and love while a Daddy found his boy. Loved this wonderful story very much!

Ari, Laney and Gage. This was just a sweet story of family . Gage needed a nanny for his niece, his niece needed someone who would understand her and Ari just needed someone who would truly value him. These three individuals found each other and made each other whole again.

His Boy to Heal

This was a good story that follows Ari after his boyfriend abandons him to a new job and then a new relationship to a happily ever after. It has a few grammar issues, and I think it was rushed at the end, but it was a sweet story about two people meeting each other’s needs and falling in love!

I love the fact that both men were both are attracted to each both through the app and in real life. There are misunderstandings but they also work through them. Laney is so cute and it was great to see them both building a relationship with her as well. I love how the story has a couple of chapters at the end that let you jump forward to see their lives progressing together.

Healing Needed

There were times in the story that I felt I needed healing from the angst! Ahhh! However, the story continued and developed almost perfectly! Sometimes I had to go back a few paragraphs to figure out who was speaking/thinking, but otherwise, a pretty decent story (and fun!).
