You are Unique and You Can Achieve Anything: For Girls, is one of the best books I've had the pleasure of reading with my daughter at bedtime. Each short story is aimed at girls (there is a boys version of this that I'm reading next, too) and sets out with a problem/issue the child in the story faces and how it gets resolved. Each short story and problem is relatable and is written about in a way that children will understand and think about too.
I wish this book was longer as it's fantastic! Each night my daughter and I read one story then talk about it and read the assisting moral of the story that follows.
These books are fantastic for not only reading at home but as class discussion points too!
I hope there is more of these to come as they're a real hit in my house! The only criticism I can give is that the story's end with a suggestion that the problem never arises again (eg jealousy) and in the real world this is something that isn't so easily resolved by one thing and often can flare up again.

Beautiful short stories

Added to our favourite books pile ✔️

So we all know by now that @inspiredinnergenius do the best series of biography books for children.

Well, they've blown us away again with these stand alone mini story collections. Each short story is a lesson to learn. Simple and easy reads for children with a 'Moral of the story' summary at the end.
The boy and girl editions are beautiful, but all stories in both books are suited to any and every child.

2 year old Lucas's review: This is so cute mommy' 🤣
Lucas particularly found The New Baby a helpful story. Even though his sister isn't a tiny baby any more he was really relating to the story and understanding that she can't talk yet so often cries to let us know she needs something. This book was so helpful to him already.

As usual, my teacher and mommy friends, I recommend you add these books to your shelf!

Thank you for these beautiful gifts @inspiredinnergenius🤍

Have you ever heard the expression, “Comparison is the thief of joy?” This new title for young readers from ages 6 to 11 is about just that, and is written to help children embrace their inner uniqueness. In the slim volume are eleven heartwarming and relatable stories, ranging from themes of courage and kindness to individuality and determination. Although this one is aimed at readers who identify as girls, these stories will ring true for kids of all genders. As someone who struggled with self-confidence growing up, I wish I had had stories like this to read! I look forward to sharing some of these stories with my third grade students during our social-emotional learning block, and I will be saving the books to share and read aloud with my own daughter and son when they are old enough.

Children’s Stories
81 Pages & 80 Pages

You are Unique and You Can Achieve Anything for girls and boys are something new from Inspired Inner Genius. They ate full of quick stories that replicate incidents that can happen in a child’s everyday life.

I love seeing the solutions that are included in each story. They show kids how to work out their problems in a logical way. The only issue I have is that most stories end by saying the issue never happened again. That just doesn’t seem logical. Problems often reappear during a lifetime.

There is a small illustration at the beginning of each story. I love that splash of color spread throughout the book.

The last lick in the bowl is a free bonus. Readers can download two of Inspired Inner Genius’s biographies for free!

Thank you to Inspired Inner Genius for providing me with these books to read and review.

I always enjoy the biographies from IIG, and these new books are different but so amazing!

There is a girls and boys edition, each consisting of a series of short stories. There is a moral at the end of each tale, reminding you of a message and there is something to take away from each one.

I have really enjoyed reading this, and am very eager to see what the team do next.
This is a great book for a girl, to show her that she is special, and will hopefully inspire her.

I was dubious of reading ‘boy’ and ‘girl’ books in our current world, but the books aren’t specifically about what boys/girls can do, the stories are about the moral of them which can be transferred to anyone, old or young, regardless of how they identify.

I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the next release by IIG.

This book is a nice collection of inspiring short stories aimed at young girls. I think this is an interesting concept and worked very nicely. The stories were nice, empowering and inspiring. It's something sweet and nice for girls to read.

I think readers will find value out of this, especially if they want positive short stories. The morals of the stories were a nice touch. They can be used as conversation starters for parents, guardians and educators who pick up this book.

Overall, good read!

Three out of five stars.

“You are unique and you can achieve anything!” What an inspiring title! This book is comprised of 11 short stories that just take a few minutes to read. They could be read with a child or a child can read them on their own. At the end of each story is a paragraph called “moral of the story“. Each story tackles a different situation that any child may experience. This book is geared for girls but the themes could apply to any gender.

In one story a girl compares herself to her brother who plays the piano better than her. Remembering that she is one of a kind even though she may not be able to do something the same as someone else doesn’t mean that her way is wrong. Keep trying and believing in yourself! These are examples of inspiring words and encouragement in many different situations.

There are also little illustrations at the beginning of each chapter and at the end of the paper back book is a QR code to get 2 inspirational biography books from the inspired inner genius group.

I received an advance readers copy in paperback form and this review is completely my own opinion.

What a book! You are unique and you can achieve anything! contains 11 short stories about strong young girls to inspire the reader.
I will be passing this book to a friend of mine who's little girl this will be perfect for.
After each story there is a short page on the moral of the story, personally I think this is a great add on and will help younger children to understand who they are and what they can achieve. Actually not only young girls but all women who have self doubt.

Thank you Inspired Inner Genius for another amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
