He wanted a daughter and even knew her name, but that life's longing was never fulfilled. What a successful and fascinating life, nevertheless, although he lived with disappointments, opportunities missed, longing, and regret. Born in Italy to a WWII POW, Giacomo lost his mother less than a month after his birth. A compelling immigrant story, from Italy to America.
