This review copy again was via PDF, so I had the same slight confusion in understanding who was talking. This may have just been due to how it was laid out and this may be clearer in a different format.
This book introduces more characters, but does well to explain who everyone is.
The way the whole little stories (of the individual characters) is explained and finalised is really good.
I didn't feel there was anything missing and while this is currently only a 2 part series, there definitely could be a 3rd book.
I wanted to rate it 4.5 stars, but only have the choice of 4 or 5. Felt it was closer to the 5 on this book due to the excellent way it was finalised and wrapped up.
I received a complimentary copy of the book via Booksprout and I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.
This is the first book I have read by this author and found it confusing to follow the plot. The book jumps around between the story lines of more than character. I found about halfway thru you can start connecting the different characters to the story line. I must admit the last part of the story finally allowed me to settle into the read. I was gifted an ARC for part two and have high hopes that the story will be more fluid and connective. *** ARC Provided for Honest Review ***
This was my "first" (this was my second book from this author) encounter with this author. The story line was relatively ok. However, I enjoyed the story's plot.
