Four orphans and their headmistress set out for Oregon in search of men looking for mail-order brides. Will they find what they are looking for? Or will fate have other plans?
Welcome to my little corner of the internet! So who am I? Well, it’s quite simple actually. Of course, first and foremost, I’m a wife and mother. However, along with those two hats, I’m also a Sweet Historical and Contemporary Romance author who writes in her fuzzy pants and loves her horses and her cats!
Love historical romance? Well, then strap on those petticoats, travel back in time, and go on adventures with my sweet Historical Romances. Not feeling historical today? I have a few sweet Contemporary Romances, too!
And if you are looking for something with a little more heat (not too much, but more smooching and some fade-to-black scenes), then check out my titles written under the name Angela Christina Archer
This is Book #4 in the Oregon Trail Brides series and is a sweet and heart warming story yet one filled with angst including danger, peril, untamed wilderness, bandits and secrets. This is Grace and Luke's story, as well as Henry Luke's son, and the character development is outstanding. As danger threatens the wagon train, will Luke be able to put aside his past and step up to protect those he cares about as well as the rest of the wagon train. Will Grace and Luke friendship grow into a romantic relationship or will past secrets threaten to destroy any chance for a HEA? Be sure and read this great story to find out; I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.
This is book four in this series by London James. It is a stand along book. Grace is last of the orphans that has not married on the Oregon trail. Luke lost his wife and left him with his son and father in law. Luke and his party join Grace’s wagon train to help them with a band of bandits that has been following the train. There is trouble on the train, kidnapping of Grace, Luke’s son, and one more, faces Luke with the memory of his dead wife. What will happen. Very well written and a very enjoyable read.
#4 did not disappoint! I LOVED the storyline! How it was Grace’s turn to find love! ❤️ Her strength and willingness to do what was needed to help little Henry was the sweetest show of “Motherhood”!! I’m looking forward to the final book in the Oregon Trail Brides series! 🥰
Book #3 was boring. Too much “filler “ words which meant nothing. Everyone was always “ biting their lip” a favorite phase. It took more than half a book to get any interest from me. Other books were better someone else wrote this one. I gave the first book a 5 star then they really went downhill.
This was the 4th book in the series, and was very intriguing. It has drama, suspense, sad, and happy times. I loved the whole series. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I had read the whole book.
Well, it's finally Grace's turn for happiness. She is feeling a little sad, but happy at the same time. Her three friends have all found love on the Oregon Trail, but not her. She just needs to get away and breathe, which she does as the get to the fort. Luke needs to get to Oregon and start his life again we with his son Henry. After losing his wife, he doesn't know how to go on, but he knows he must for Henry. Grace meets Henry while buying her supplies, but wonders where his parents are and is afraid to leave him alone. This is just the beginning of their story. A story that you will enjoy. I was given an ARC of this book by the author for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this love story. It was so sweet watching Grace and Luke fall in love. Healings all around. Can't wait until Winona's story is fulfilled.
This was the last of the four girls to find a happy ending. Lots of trouble on this trek to Oregon!! But they depend on the Lord, and each other. Good read!
