Only his fated mate could bring Lucifer to his knees...
Confirmed bachelor and legendary playboy, Lucifer Morningstar, is the cocky King of the Underworld. By day, he moonlights as the owner of the DeLux Cafe, and at night he controls evil supernatural beings in the underworld. One stroke of his whip makes immortal demons grovel and quake. With his faithful hellhound by his side, life couldn't be better.
That is, until he meets a delicious Detective and can’t get her out of his mind. Lucifer is obsessed with chasing down his fated mate and making her his.
Detective Chloe Frost moved to LA four years ago to further her career. She's driven and good at her job. A white wolf shifter, she has a nose for these things. Being the best detective she can be is all she wants...even if she is lonely without her pack. Her true love is her profession. Who needs a man anyhow?
Despite her negative outlook on love, Chloe accepts her friend's suggestion to attend a speed dating mingle at the DeLux Cafe. Heidi swears it's just what Chloe needs. Her hopes aren't high, but a little fun-n-sexy-times won't hurt, right?
Lucifer is book one in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld shared world, filled with devilish demons, sinful shifters, and more.
USA Today Bestselling Author Gina Kincade spends her days tapping away at a keyboard, through blood, sweat, and often many tears, crafting steamy paranormal romances filled with shifters and vampires, along with witchy urban fantasy tales in magical worlds she hopes her readers yearn to crawl into.
A busy mom of three, she loves healthy home cooking, gardening, warm beaches, fast cars, and horseback riding.
Ms. Kincade's life is full, time is never on her side, and she wouldn't change a moment of it!
It is oddly too descriptive and the pacing felt off to me because of how explanatory for no reason it was. The character of Lucifer is weirdly similar to the one portrayed in the Netflix series which made me also notice that the heroine’s name is Chloe, just like Chloe Decker, and she is also a detective. What is different in this is the setting, which is a café instead of a bar/ club and Chloe is a shifter. The pace is making it boring for me, making me notice how juvenile the writing is, it is not as easy to go through although it is a short novella of 100 pages only. The insta love trope isn’t very well done tbh. The mix between theological angels and Greek mythology gods sounds very interesting but not very well explored As we see interactions between lucifer and Aphrodite “Mine. Mate. His beast agreed”, lucifer doesn’t have a beast, he is the devil. Chloe was too hard on her date Jackson just because he expressed his views and thoughts to her, he didn’t say anything harmful and she just told him it was Weird and hurtful, lmao, such a drama queen!!!!! Conversation is boring as hell!!!!! This is boring to death omg!!I am sad because the idea is very nice and it could have been done better, the premise is very Promising but just plain bad execution to be fair.
It's not terrible, and the idea of this speed-dating at a cafe for supernatural beings is a cute idea, enough to make me want to continue the series. The scenes at the cafe were fun, but the romance came all too fast, that it was kinda boring when they near immediately hooked up. The beginning had focused on Chloe's job as an investigator, specifically with a difficult murder case. I thought that would come up again, maybe be important, but no. Just set dressing. I was seeing some reviews say that the characters are a direct copy of the show Lucifer, but I haven't seen the show, and know next to nothing about it. Something to consider if you choose to read this, though.
Also, "swollen nubbin" is a terrible and unsexy phrase. Wtf.
The book was ok. It started strong then went downhill. The "romance" is so fast with no real build up and the personalities change for the characters abruptly. I don't usually do reviews less than 4 but for the price I was expecting a lot more. The book took me no time to read. I wouldn't really recommend unless you want a quick, simple read.
We have a story of Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Frost and Wolf shifter. When they both end up at a speed dating Cafe. Will the sparks fly? Could Chloe except someone like Lucifer? This is a short read. Depending on how fast you read you could be done with in 3 hours. I also did not get into right away. It took a few chapters.

Ill be honest the idea of Lucifer speed dating kinda drew me to this book, lol. Im glad it did only it was more about Chloe (FMC) than him i thought. Pushed into trying speed dating with other Supernaturals Wolf Shifter Chloe goes through some truly awful follow up dates afterwards. Which did make me laugh in parts. Hey dynamic with Lucifer was actually really sweet and pretty steamy. The parts where they got to know each other were endearing and that for me was what i liked the most about this book. I really enjoyed reading it and i cant wait to see what other books are in this series. A good read
Wow, this was an amazing story! White wolf shifter, Chloe, meets Lucifer, ruler of the underworld, when her friend convinces her to go to a speed dating event. Lucifer knows straight away she is his fated mate and the demon is smitten. The story was fun, well written and a great first story in the series that makes you want to read more. Hot and steamy, Lucifer and Chloe have great chemistry. Engaging from beginning to end with a lovey HEA for the fated mates.

Lucifer is a cute retelling of the tv show Lucifer with some of the same named characters and theme, but they put their own little twist to the story and through in hot and sexy love scenes with Lucifer and Chloe that we were missing in the original show until the very end. Even though it was like read a excerpt from the show in a way, I still loved it and loved reading the book. I also loved the new twist they gave Chloe! Cute beginning to the series of speed dating in the Underworld! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was really looking forward to this book, but I was sorely disappointed. First of all, it’s extremely unoriginal. Lucifer Morningstar and the FMC is an LAPD Detective named Chloe? He even calls her “Detective” later in the book. It totally ruined it for me, but I kept reading.
Then in the epilogue it really gets ruined. It states “one month later” but on the next page she reveals she’s two months pregnant ?! And she gets a decaf tea from the bakery, and later on the page the tea miraculously turned into coffee.
Overall it’s just a disappointment

This is a fun read, although it did leave feeling that something was wanting in this story. I was unsure of what to make of Aphrodite the succubus, working with Eve freshly divorced from Adam in Lucifer's cafe. It is a strange mix, but why not, and if you do not think too hard about it, it is a fun read. I did struggle a little with this version of Lucifer, he seems to be missing his alpha side.
This is a very creative twist on mythology, is has a very loose basis of what we know and put a unique twist on it. Overall this is a very fun read that is well written. I enjoyed following Lucifer and Chloe's story. I did feel like there was something missing put can't quite point it out. This is an exciting read and great introduction to the Speed Dating with the Deinzens of the Underworld series.
Lucifer is the first book in Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld and a fabulous collaboration by Gina Kincade and Erzabet Bishop, that draws the reader in and holds their attention till the very end. A liked the flow of the storyline and the characters were certainly intense and interesting. I’m looking forward to the next in this series.

I really enjoyed this paranormal story. It was about Lucifer and Chloe, who met at a speed dating event. They were fated mates and Chloe did not like Lucifer when she first met him. The story was entertaining, steamy, and I really liked both characters. I can't wait to read the rest of the stories in this series to read about the other citizens of the underworld.

Chloe needs some time for herself and her friend Heidi knows just the thing that will make her white wolf happy. Speed dating with the denizens of the underworld. Not exactly what CHLOE had in mind however trying out something new might be just what this white wolf needs. After 3 bad dates she finally gets it right with the demon from the underworld Lucifer himself. Now things are looking up.
Love sparks at the strangest time and or places. Lucifer is feeling out of sorts...Lucifer runs into Chloe at the Delux bar as she tried to get a drink before the speed dating event. Lucifer is helping out at the bar, which is when he meets her. They spark and after a few dates with others she decides she's done. She ends up back at DeLux for a special date arranged for her. The two hit it off and it just spirals out of control and a very happy ending!
The authors have given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Chloe Frost, white wolf shifter, and Lucifer Morningstar, King of the Underworld. The story keeps us intrigued with humans, shifters, demons and more.

This first book is so good. It’s off to an exciting start and with excellent world building you easily find yourself drawn into this story. We meet detective Chloe Frost a wolf shifter and Lucifer king of the underworld and their chemistry is off the charts. It’s an entertaining adventure and very intriguing and I look forward to reading more.
The first book in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld series. King of the Underworld Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Frost a white wolf shifter's story. The story is well written with a good storyline that held my interest. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. A straightforward love story, apart from Lucifer being boss of the Underworld and Chloe is a wolf shifter and homicide detective. Decent level of heat, considering that Lucifer does live in Purgatory. And let’s not forget a scheming Aphrodite, who is determined to find fated mated for her clientele.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Lucifer, the first book in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld series by Gina Kincade and Erzabet Bishop. I love this writing duo and they did not disappoint with Lucifer. A fun and sexy tale of the original bad boy finding love!
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Booksprout.
I was first intrigued by this book because the two main characters, Lucifer and Chloe, are main characters in a Netflix tv show. So I wanted to see how closely the story was. NOT the same at all, the story is mainly love, or looking for it.

2.5 Stars I didn't like this book. I found myself zoning out as the story drug on and on and on. Chloe goes to her little apartment and it seemed to take forever to hear all about every detail of each room and her knick knacks. Her 3 speed dates were kinda funny but her time with Lucifer was blah. I hope the next in the series is better. There's still hope because it's by a different Author.
A great start to this new series Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and fit well together. The story will hold your attention all the way through. I am looking forward to read the next book.
Wow what a start this series has. This book was fun and steamy andis about lucifer finding his fated mate and she is a white wolf shifter also a detective. Storyline was superb and left me wanting more I recieved a free copy via Booksprout and I’m giving my review freely and honestly
This was an awesome read! Who knew Lucifer could be funny and loving! Loved the 3 dates, especially tantrum bowling dude lol. Lots of supernatural goodness. Aphrodite too!! Can't wait to read more in this series of speed dating to see who's next.
Who would of thought such a love match could happen. Gripping unusual love story - everyone wants to find their true love, even the king of the underworld.
