Truth or Consequences

Three dreams caused me to record the events of my life to date. I had resisted this massive undertaking previously, as I saw no real benefit to the process, other than the provision of a detailed family history for my two sons. Having completed the task however, I see with far greater clarity the patience, grace and oversight God has exercised in my life. He has repeatedly protected my family and forgiven my many acts of arrogant rebellion. I now realize the Christian life is far different than I first imagined. Among other things, I have a responsibility to discover the redemptive potential in the trials I face. I must also seize the opportunity to harness the lessons from those negative events to aid in the construction of the Kingdom of God in my midst.
