I have been using both the Sacred Path and the medicine card decks for some time. I found he first 183 pages of explanation on each card a bit boring. However these pages won’t be boring to those new to this sacred Native-American deck.
The different spreads were explained in Sams’s earlier books.
Instead of reading the book cover to cover, I should have used the book as a reference tool and worked with the cards and looked up what I needed to know.
For anyone new to the Sacred Path deck, I recommend a cover to cover read. She is a good author, lyrical in parts, and always a great spiritual guide.
