Very good brief on payment systems (except mobile payments). It's a to the point book with lucid explanations of ideas in payments industry, with author's knowledgeable opinions interspersed throughout the book. The chapter on major payment products could be better done. As a non European/American reader, I just felt out of place. So many keywords jumping at me: SEPA, PSD, TARGET, CHIPS etc. Rest of the book is pretty good read.

If you work or wants to work with payments. Either from tech, product or business background. I really recommend this book.
It gives a very broad perspective on payments and banking system.
Even tho it is a bit outdated already. Many of the predictions from the book are now live. :)
