Atticus and Sean had met 5-years ago in a restaurant/bar. After a wild, sexy night spent together, Atticus awoke the next morning to find that Sean was gone...gone back to his father's ranch that he thought he would never go back to, but his father's death had changed all that. The years went by, and life went on...Sean on the ranch and Atticus as a doctor...but they could never forget one another or that night. Atticus had worked before as a hand at the Coleman Ranch, and he felt he simply HAD to return to the only place he had ever felt welcomed and accepted. He didn't know that Sean was the owner now, but fate allowed them to find one another again and to see if they could really have what they both still wanted.
Neither of them could let go of the memories surrounding that one monumental night or that special someone. They both wanted another chance of a future together. When plans that Seans father had had for the ranch and didn't tell anyone about before his death, go all wrong...they had to discover a way to possibly fix it. This entire group of men on the ranch came up with a pretty ingenious plan.
The whole story bordered on the "fairly unlikely to happen, at least so easily", but it was a warm and sweet story that had a happy ending, promising a future of more "warm and sweet, happy endings" in the reminder of the Coleman Ranch series. Sometimes you just have to dismiss all those unlikely happenings and disbelieves and just go with "it feels good and right".

This is a fun and mostly light D/lb romance. Sean approaches Atticus in a bar when he sees that he looks like the most interesting man there. They talk, find they are attracted, and spend a glorious night together. They part after that night, but it changes both of them profoundly. Their lives go in new directions and they meet again by chance five years later when Atticus takes over Coleman Ranch. These two men want to give their relationship a chance, but there are problems to overcome. Can they have the type of relationship they want? This book doesn't hold any big surprised, but it is definitely entertaining and you'll find yourself rooting for their happiness.

Hey so turns out that after the handful of DD/LB romances I’ve read that it’s just not for ✨ me ✨ this was A great book, but this kink just doesn’t interest me

4.5 STARS | QUICK and STEAMY, this Daddy kink M/M cowboy romance was BEAUTIFUL and FUN to read! I love Atty & Sean’s love story and am excited to continue reading the series soon! A.W. Scott is my favorite author when it comes to M/M Daddy kink! Would recommend!

I love Daddy/Boy stories and this one hit the mark. Sean and Atticus connected so well when they first met it was undeniable that the attraction was just as fierce when they see each other again years later. I enjoyed their story and seeing them find their way in this type of relationship. I was happy that Atticus was able to find the courage to come out even knowing that there wouldn’t be much backlash.

I was on a bit of a cowboy kick when I decided to add this book to my TBR. It sounded interesting, and honestly, not too complicated. I've got to say, though, that it really failed to meet any sort of expectation I had, and I had none.
What is unclear from the summary of the book is the whole "Little" aspect, which I find personally just really weird and creepy. If that makes you happy, great, but I don't really understand wanting to take care of a grown ass adult human like a little kid. Sounds pervy.
If that were the only problem, then I wouldn't rate the book this low. I could have easily stopped when I realized that I didn't really like the concept at all. However, the book's real issue isn't that. It's based on a real lack of character development, plot, and pacing. When Atticus and Sean are introduced, they both live pretty different lives. Atticus stays away from home because he doesn't know how to deal with his grief over the loss of his mother and brother and how to navigate that in his relationship with his father. His father is painted as a pretty great person, especially when we learn more about him later on in the story. Honestly, I would have much rather have read about his father's relationship.
The book took a major turn for me after the two characters became intimate. That's when the whole Daddy/Little thing happened, and as I've been mentioned, I was so not a fan of that. Like, not even a little. It's after that scene, though, that the time jump that completely ruins the book happens. It feels more natural on Atticus's end, but Sean's time Jump and what he manages to get up to in the vague number of years between beginning of the book and the time after the time jump is completely unrealistic. The fact that they are able to end up in each other's lives again so randomly, yet completely coincidentally, was so unrealistic to me.
If the characters have been better developed, maybe I could have gotten behind the book. Good characters can save a Bad plot any day, but the plot was awful and the writing was so novice. It was like reading something like students had written, like bad fanfiction.
Really, the book was a complete and utter waste of my time, did not satisfy anything cowboy for me, and didn't convince me to look into any of the tropes/relationship types that were covered in this book.

I did not know what to expect when starting the book but I was so enamored that I had to keep on turning the pages until I got to the end! I LOVED the story and would recommend that it be read! I truly loved Atticus Coleman, one of the main characters because the author made him feel human with all these emotions. It’s hard to explain that but I loved him!
The story opens in a restaurant/bar where Atticus was sitting at the bar alone while Sean Hampton, who was a doctor was having dinner with his best friend. When the best friend had to take a phone call, Sean noticed Atticus sitting alone. He noticed other patrons eyeing Atticus. He made a bold move which would forever alter his life path. He sat next to Atticus and they talked. They talked about different things and the ranch life. Then they hooked up. The next morning, Atticus wasn’t in bed. He had disappeared. This was when Sean made the life alternating decision that he didn’t want to be a doctor anymore but a ranch hand. Both guys’ lives went in the opposite directions but came together due to an event in Atticus’ life. Please pick up the book and read to find out what happens after they re-connected. Also the front cover is to die for! Loved the design!!!!

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. It just to cute the whole Daddy ranchers, this book took a turn that is steam-a-licious!

Drowning his sorrows in the bottom a glass was who knew that night, Atticus is surprising intrigued when a young man he just met seems to see into his soul. A night of firsts but it's just for a night, life has a way of interfering that way. Lives was changed after the heart stopping night, only it was never repeated. Fate has a funny way about it, how Sean and Atticus had met in what felt like a life time ago, only to be reunited with the passing of Clancy Coleman. Can they pick up where they left off!?! Dreams of saving ranch is about to takes very interesting when working together burns up the sheets.

I found this writing to be okay. I feel like a lot of the description was a bit over the top and found myself skipping a lot of stuff which kinda sucked but I really enjoyed the story with the angst and I could tell there was clearly a whole other daddy/little series prior to this one but I didn’t feel like it was hard to follow without having read that which I appreciated.
I liked little Sean and how he went from doctor to farm hand. I wish we could have seen that transition and hardship and it seems weird he managed to get to Atticus’ dads farm but whatever. Daddy Atticus seems great and I feel like the angsty conflict was like nothing but it’s all good.
1/5 on spice. 1/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Wish they got moving quicker but fun book.

Second chance love for two strangers who found comfort one night but never exchanged more than first names. They had an impact on each other lives. “Atticus gave Sean the courage to change his life leaving the hospital & become a Ranch hand. The first place and Rancher that gave him chance happened to be Clancy Coleman Atticus father. Years later Atticus thought he saw a ghost at his father’s wake but before he could see if that ghost was Sean he was gone. Couple days later Atticus was introduced to the new Ranch hand but as explained by Beau the new addition was a family member coming home. It was an interesting meeting now will Sean and Atticus navigate their way back to Princess & Daddy.

This kept me pretty entertained. Sean was sweet. He's hard working, upfront, and knows who he is and what he likes. Atticus is great, too. He's caring and slightly possessive and strong. I love how they meet and get this second chance. It's special that Atticus's dad ties them together, I think. It does seem odd that a doctor would suddenly completely change his life course, but I guess it happens.
I love the ranch and how LGBTQIA+ friendly it is. The ranch family is so great and I think I'll read more about them. The spicy scenes seemed to really hit in this book, too. They were great! Overall, it was a fun read, if a little slow at times. Or maybe not slow, but not very communicative.

This book was wonderful!! I loved everything about it. I'll admit that I was a little nervous when I noticed the blurb said medium to high angst. There was not as much angst as I expected which made me very happy. The chemistry between Atticus and Sean when they first meet is hot. Fate is a funny thing. Years later, when it was time, their paths crossed again. There are some ups and downs that they experience on the ranch. I think it's expected since it's a fairly new relationship. I would have like to read more about Sean being Little and having a playdate with Travis and Ean! I'm definitely looking forward to more of the series. I hope we get to see more Princess Pals make appearances.

This was the first in the Coleman Ranch series. Atticus and Sean meet in the beginning of the story and hook up for the night. Fast forward a few years and Atticus has come home to take over the mantle when his father dies. Sean arrives in time for the funeral and is shocked to see Atticus there. I loved the hurt/comfort and found family aspect of the story!! Overall, fantastic! The story was really well written, the pacing flowed smoothly, highly recommend. The story kept me engaged and I literally could not put it down. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My review is solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

DNF @21% ... Wound up feeling repelled by this for some reason. Mostly I think it was how it was written. The first chapter was so clunky. There was a lot of distancing in the language, it's hard to express. Then there was the weird grammatical redundant phrasing, like "Thinking of the parties of my youth, my mind wandered to simpler times." or "I’ve been ‘straight’ my whole life, though my mind has often been curious." Just very off-putting bad editing. Then I checked out at the princess part and said "nope, I'm done." Normally I don't rate DNF books but this one was bad, so I'll give it 1 star.

This book wasn't an easy read. The author totally nailed physician arrogance with that whole "I'm going to go and fix that sad... but hot... cowboy", making Sean pretty unlikeable at book's start. And then he gives up medical practice to be a cowboy? That's 8-9 years of schooling PLUS 3-4 years of residency. A cowboy? Really?
The daddy elements were all there. The characters had some chemistry. Sweet.
I've read the Club Deny books, but not the Princess Pen Pal stories, so I'm familiar with the author's work. I'd say the book was ok. A little bit of a miss. Will it stop me from reading the next one? No.

I loved Atticus and Sean. In spite of them only having an awesome one night, the best they'd ever experienced, and the next day, Atticus was gone. Sean had been on the track to becoming a doctor, but that was what his parents wanted for him. He changes his whole life and becomes a ranch hand, working on Atticus' dad's ranch for a brief time. Atticus, after being estranged with his dad, comes home and after his dads death hires a returning ranch hand. It's Sean!
This jyst wets my appetite for much more from AW Scott and more about the Coleman Ranch.

This was a pretty sweet story, loved how somehow fate brought Atticus and Sean back together. Loved how Atticus' father also inspired and guided Sean without them both knowing about it. It seemed they were both learning how to let go and let love in, love of life, love of work, and love of each other. I look forward to the rest of the series, and seeing more of the ranch. With all the side characters, and plans to accept all who have no one and no place to go, leads to a great found family read.

This book was a wonderful beginning to a new series, but still lightly connected to the Princess Pen Pal series. Atticus and Sean are great together though it takes some time for them to reconnect after their first meeting and many things have changed for the both of them. There is just a bit of angst but it isn't actually between the main characters. I absolutely adored this book and can't wait for the next one in this series.

Atticus and Sean had met years early in a bar and had a wonderful romantic evening together. Fast forward 5 years and Atticus discovers that Sean has returned to work on his family ranch. There is an external threat to the ranch and the entire ranch must come together to save it. In the process Atticus and Sean fall in love.
I love A.W. Scott and I cannot wait to see where this series goes next. I highly recommend this series.

I loved Atticus and Sean. I waited with anticipation to see how these two would be reunited after spending one passionate night together a few years ago. I was not disappointed. This sweet Daddy romcom is exactly that. Sweet, adorable, and full of story. I binged this book in one sitting. What started off as a one night stand turns into a Boss/employee situation. There is a light hurt comfort with a focus on the comfort and found family.

Fantastic story. I picked it up and then couldn’t put it down! Atticus and Sean are up there with my top 10 favorite couples now!
They have a long road to get them to where they need to be, but Atticus finally sees that Sean is most important, everything else be darned. Ready for more of this new series!

Ridiculous
Sorry this book was lame cowboys being princesses and babies colouring wearing tiaras and dresses please just stupid wouldn't waste your time on it the story line could have worked but then the ridiculous started I always say to each his own by not this it was awful pure rubbish waste of time

This is such a wonderful start to a new series. I absolutely adored Atticus. His strength and compassion was beautifully written. As for Sean, he comes alive in this book. There’s some truly wonderful side characters to who add so much to this story. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
