The Power Of Three

Rate this book
In a world where magic, science and religion are locked in constant war with each other it is vital to know which side you are on. However for Will - a scientific genius born in a magical empire, Abi - a witch in a land of saints and Eunice - a prophetess in a land of science - that is hardly an option.
But not belonging is the least of their problems, what with a dark plan afoot to destroy the very fundamental substance of the world itself, and no one but those three brave enough (or stupid enough) to try and stop it.

This was a fun idea, but not very well fleshed out. There are three factions, magic, faith, and tech who once worked together. But then they go to war with each other due to prejudice. It turned out to be a pretty transparent "we need to restore the balance" message. The grammar was ridiculously bad (missing capitalization, spelling off, etc). I did finish the story because the characters were fun. Each was a natural adept in an area other than their nation's focus (a magic user in the faith nation). The sense of humor in the writing and their thoughts were entertaining.

If he got with an editor and polished the book it could be a strong story. As it is it's an interesting rough draft.
