This was my second book in the series since I’m reading it out of order, but since all are interconnected standalones I did not feel as if that had an impact. This book was so good- Breanna Riley had an amazing talent to develop characters, write a provoking plot and still incorporate some spice. Jordan and Nic are one of my favorite couples of 2022 so far- their love story is truly epic and it had a very twisty path that made this a one sitting book for me! Bravo to this author- I cannot wait to check out the rest of her works!.

Nic is out for revenge of his brother's death, and plans to use Jordan for info. He never planned to fall in love. Neither did Jordan. It's a bumpy road for them, filled with action, suspense, secrets, crimes and criminals. As tough as Nic's upbringing was, Jordan's history is just heartbreaking. The story is well-written, and sucked me in from the very beginning. This is a first read, and I'm truly impressed with the author. I can't wait for the next book. A fantastic, riveting read. Deliciously steamy and sinful. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

Great read. Loved the author’s writing style. The characters were endearing and well developed. Nic and Jordan will capture your heart and leave you wanting more!
