Hi everyone, Its Christopher the reader here and the book we are here to talk about tonight is Imaginary. This is the 2nd book of the author's works that I have read, The first was this one (My Parasite, Ana) Which I have also done a review on. I first read this book on the 18th of February and it took me around 2 days to finish, I started reading the book at around 4am. Anyway With me tonight I have the book. I am now going to talk about some of the book details. It was first published on the 25th of March in 2019 on Kindle and came out on the 28th in paperback. It was told using first person with it being in Jackson's point of view. The book had 16 chapters. All together the book had 149 pages, the total pages of the book would be 156 pages though without authors note and opening title pages. I liked the storyline, It sounded really interesting. I liked the character detail. It had a lot of place detail too that made it really easy to picture the world in the book. There were a some mistakes here and there in the book, some repeated detail, missing words and spelling mistakes but I didn't think it took anything away from the book. I really liked this book, It also reminded me of a movie that I use to watch as a kid. I watched it a few times. (Ghost (1990)) which I'm planning on Re-watching soon. This book also reminded me of The Maze Runner because of the waking up with no memory theme. I Personally would have liked it a bit more, if it had more things going on to make it a bit more intense or something near the middle of the book as It kind of felt like it was starting to drag slightly.

I think the characters were written really well and it did make me tear up a few times. (2/5). I liked the ending as we as the reader got to find out what Jackson kind of is which also gave us a sort of an understanding of why he was in the situation that he was in at the beginning of the book. I personally think that the book at the end was left open, meaning I think there is room for another book if the writer really wanted too write it. If another book was written I would definitely read it. I would like to know what happened to Jackson, is he where he is meant to be or is he still doing the same thing that he was doing as the book left off. Is there something more he has to do to get to where he is meant to be if he needs to get to somewhere. Or is there a way for him to fully come back from the situation that he found himself in.

I would have liked the book to be turned into a Movie and If it ever does I would definitely go and watch it. For each book that I read, I rate it out of 10, so for this I'm going to give it 8. Remember this was what I thought about the Book personally and I suggest that you give it a go for yourself, as it will maybe be one of you're favourites, you never know.

Another amazing book by Alexandra Killworth.

OMG, when I say I was hooked, I was hooked. The first page, the first line had me glued to this book. The way she has made these characters so real and the themes in this book are real themes that happen in this world every day, and I think Alexandra Killworth has given us a true insite of this in this amazing, emotional and sweet book.

The characters were written so well and were explained in a sort of way that you feel apart of the story. Even the side characters are written perfectly to which you will remember them at the end of the novel eventhough there is alot more to think about.

When reading the last few pages of this novel, I couldn't breathe, throughout reading, you make up theories and possible ways that the story could end but as you read on, your theory changes. The end of the book is heart wrenching.
The book also sends a powerful message, also throughout the book.

Would 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone. :)

I was immediately sucked into the story and couldn't put the book down because I wanted ALL THE ANSWERS. Who was Jackson? Why was he there? How could he help Sasha?
I enjoyed the discovery of who Jackson was, and how he was linked to the family. But I wish (⚠️spoiler alert⚠️) that he didn't leave at the end! It means he left Sasha twice despite knowing how much it hurt her! I'm hoping for a second installment of this novel because I want to find out how the family coped afterwards. Does Suzie enter recovery? Does Jackson come back? What happens to their father?
