Can't find anything about this book online so I'll just do a little write-up. The author I've never heard of (think he may be a jouralist) and I'm not sure he's written anymore novels.
The premise is the idea of bringing back the death penalty in the UK in the not so distant future. Written in the 90s so some of the 'futuristic' technology isn't that far out from what we have now but it also has the 90s mentality. Fairly one dimensional characters, a rather unlikeable protagonist and a rather simple take on sexuality. Not the best book but short enough at three hundred odd pages to blast through in a couple of days.
