With more than 66,000 copies sold, The Reflexology Workout is a perennial favorite among readers interested in holistic and alternative medicine. With a striking new cover design, it will capture fresh attention on the shelves. Black-and-white photographs.
I bought this book back in the dark years of a major health crash, hoping to find some relief from the issues I was dealing with at the time (and will be dealing with my entire life).
It is easy to understand and the points you need to press are easy to find, thanks to the detailed instructions and line drawings.
I am dipping into it a bit now to refresh my memory for specific points, but since that will be a project with no clear end in sight, I thought I'd write a quick review now.
I wish I could say for certain that the process helps me, but I usually have so much going on at any one time that it is hard to know which helpful hint actually helps and which just makes me feel better for trying Something active and not merely being passive about my condition.
If nothing else, the workouts in this book will make your hands feel energized so they are worth doing, at least for me.
I plan to try some of these techniques and hope that I get some relief especially the arthritis. It also has an energy workout that I greatly need. This book may be outdated (1986) but in hopes that these remedies work. I miss when I used to get reflexology done years prior that gave some minimal relief to the tendinitis (almost carpal tunnel in my hands, also my feet suffered from being flat-footed).
I prefer to get a foot massager that will tackle most of these issues or find someone that offers reflexology since I used to go years ago--so wonderful if they know what they are doing.
