Book 11 in Alpha Geek series by Milly Taiden
Delilah is part of a secret protection service that is hired to look after Zane.
Delilah is a shifter and hasn’t come across her mate as of yet but when she’s hired Phising to look after him that’s when she realises that he’s her favourite and sparks fly things get very he’s very quickly and also they realise that you can’t trust everyone fantastic series definitely recommend for anyone if he loves shift Sarris especially if they’ve read PDA

This is an OK shifter romance, but it seemed that the couple was more in lust than in love. Zane and Delilah were both likable, but I would have liked a little more romance and a little less sex.
This was a quick read, so there wasn't time for as much character development as I like -- but there was enough to like the couple and to want them to find their HEA.
I thought Zane would have had a little more trouble adjusting to suddenly becoming a shifter. I get that the story was trying to show that everyone reacted differently to the shifter serum, but his almost immediate ability to shift was a bit hard to believe.
One complaint is that most of Milly's stories are a bit too explicit for me. I like hot sex in romances, but I would prefer it to be a little less descriptive and dirty. I am not a prude, but the really explicit stuff is just not romantic to me. But I will continue to read Milly's writing, as it is entertaining and fun.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Tiger shifter and former Navy SEAL Delilah Jones works for the shifter protection agency. As a professional, she always keeps a cool distance from the various clients she has protected in the past. Then she meets a new human client and ultra geek Zane when she realises that he is actually her mate. Her tigress is desperate to keep him as her own but she is fighting hard to keep that distance so that she can do her job well. Zane needs help after learning that his bear shifter partner is a money launderer but after meeting beautiful Delilah he starts to wonder how he can ask her out for a date. Can she keep him alive for long enough to testify against his former partner in court or will they have to use the mystery serum? When the worst happens the effect of the serum is instantaneous - the question is will they both survive this change too?
I really enjoyed this book with the shifter protecting the human, the serum, unusual effects and timelines and then a desperate battle for continued survival. I loved the skills that Zane was able to use in battle and the way that he attacked his foe. Easy to read, feel and understand I was addicted to the story and bought into their continued survival. Contains explicit sexual content.

Delilah Jones is a former SEAL who is now in the Shifter Protection Agency. She is a tiger shifter who always is professional and does what needs to be done. When she meets Zane, she realizes he is her mate. Zane is a geek who has found out his partner is laundering money. Knowing he can't face his bear shifter partner without help, he turns to the Shifter Protection Agency for help. He definitely wasn't expecting to meet Delilah and want to date her. But he has to live long enough to ask her. Delilah needs to keep him alive in order to testify, and that means using a mystery serum to save him. But in saving him will it end her own life?
I really wanted to love this story. The characters were decent and I found their chemistry to be great. I just felt like so many parts of it were really slow and I had a hard time getting into the story. I honestly at one point thought about not even finishing it, and that is unusual for me. It really isn't bad, and I am sure a lot of people will love it. I just thought it was ok and very slow.

A wonderful read, great characters and wonderful plot
This was a wonderful read I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the characters and the plot was absolutely wonderful and once I started reading this b0I found it impossible to put down until I reached the end of the book.
Delilah is a strong woman with a wonderful heart and even though Zane might believe that he is a real ladies’ man and is trying to impress the tigress he considers is his however, if she is going to feel the same about him the he is going to have to up his game.
This is a wonderful read and I am sure that you will enjoy this read as much as me.

Zane finds out from his friend and business partner who has actually been stealing from their company his partner tells him to stay out of it. Instead, Zane calls the Shifter Protector Agency because he knows that the thief is also a shifter. He is disappointed and shocked because he ordered food for an Army but he got Delilah a tiger shifter and Navy Seal who encourages her geeky charge to take everything more seriously as he doesn't take precautions for his safety. Storylines and characters are intriguing. Action-adventure, danger, suspense, kidnapping, mystery, unpredictable, Adult content, and love. HEA. I read an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. It's fun seeing secondary characters from earlier books in this series.
I liked the connection that developed between Delilah and Zane in the story. I also enjoyed how the author delved more into how Zane processed the events that happened to him. It increased the level of character development for me.

Alpha Geek Zane needs protection against his business partner gone bad. In walks former Navy seal and shifter Delilah…from the first sniff Delilah realizes Zane is her Fated mate! I really enjoy a strong female heroine. Delilah is self assured and can kick butt! Taiden makes sure the story moves with suspenseful prose but also hot romantic scenes. I like that Delilah has some difficulty coming to terms with a human mate. This is a solid read flavored with some past characters. Download and enjoy ❤️❤️

Nick might just be the next Gerri when it comes to pairing up his security teams, and this duo is another rounding success. I love how Delilah is such a strong woman with a soft center that is so closely guarded, and Zane may think he’s a player but if he wants to impress his tigress he’ll have to up his skills. The author kept me entertained with a high intensity battle to the courthouse and then blew me away with a sudden change in the situation. I absolutely loved this story and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Okay so like I read this book 3 times and almost forgot to tell you how much i enjoyed the story. It's not like the other books as it is fast paced and keeps you thinking of what will happen next? I love the developing relationship and how two can be so close and yet so different. I never give spoilers but will say that I can read this a 4th time like it was my first time reading it. The ending was so good too! I bet I can find all kinds of hidden gems inside this great story. There is passion, love, excitement and enough action to go around.

Smart is sexy. Zane may be book smart but he isn’t too smart when it comes to his best friend and business partner bear shifter Vince. What a fun read!
The author engages her reader with some rather unique characters and lots of heat.
The shifter protection agency is an original idea with fated mates, action from start to finish and the promise of more to come.
I won't go into details since there are tons of reviews to do just that.
I will say if you like steamy paranormal romance, this series will satisfy the reader on many levels.

Brilliant must read.
Another brilliant addition to the series.

As always this series doesn't disappoint this was another great addition. Plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and steamy encounters to keep you hooked from beginning to end. First time it's not 5 stars
I've pretty much read every book by this author. I actually wanted to do 2 stars. Did someone upload the wrong version prior to editing? This would have gotten my usual 5 stars, but it was really difficult going through all the errors. If an assistant uploaded the wrong version, get someone new. You're a very loved author of mine.

Delilah and Zane were so good together I love these geek books because I am always rooting for the nerdy guy because he is so sweet and geeky. I am loving these Geek stories mostly because they are not, all the same, this author manages to create a new story for every Geek. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

Sweet read. These two have a lot of trust issues, considering that not only is she his bodyguard, but she's also his mate. Love on adrenaline is hard, but these two will have to navigate it quickly. Then, throw in a whole new alpha gene, and it's a party no one was prepared for in the least.. Well, maybe Nick, lol.

Milly never disappoints. Zane and Delilah are a wonderful match. Zane is shocked when he realizes that his shifter business partner betrayed him and seeks help from a shifter protection agency. Little does he realize that his life is changing in more ways than with his business partner. Sparks fly between Zane and Delilah. I highly recommend this series. Especially if you enjoy her PDA series.

Gory a d a little lackluster
This book seemed pretty gory compared to previous books in the series. It felt like there were a lot more details in the fight scenes and descriptions of wounds and damages to property than there are sequences devoted to character or relationship development. To me that made Zane and his story a little lacking when compared to the previous books

Brilliant Series
